Trailer looked interesting, but the movie is flaming bag of poop. How the hell did this dumpster fire get green lit by Netflix???

Utterly no redeeming value - the worst zombie movie ever made.

I shut it off after 75 minutes because the plot holes were burning my brain.

So I just got back from a date. Like a real civilian date with a nice afternoon walk, patio dinner, laughs and good conversation. Back to her place, did the wild thing, then watched Joy Luck Club. '94 Movie based loosely on the life of Amy Tan, a writer. I never saw this the first time around and had no idea what it was about but with all the racial shit happening today, this movie is absolutely current. Thought provoking would be putting it mildly. In fact I would go so far as to say that if this movie was produced today, it would be award level.

I remember reading the novel many years ago.I believe it won some awards. I think I watched the movie as well, but it is so long ago I'm not actually sure.

I downloaded (bit torerents) and watched The Wrath of Man last night. A Jason Stratham / Guy Ritchie production. Can't go wrong with that combination. I especially like previous Guy Ritchie's directed movies in a similar vein (gangster movies):

The Gentlemen (is currently being made into a tv series as well by Guy Ritchie)
RocknRolla
Snatch
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

I must admit I liked the other movies better than Wrath of Man because Guy Ritchie injected some humour in these movies. Wrath of Man has 0 humour.

You'll like Layer Cake as well.
Overall, it was a much better structured movie than a Guy Ritchie movie, but I get the feeling you appreciate the "grittiness" of a Ritchie movie more.

I have watched that movie. I recoognize the title but remember nothing else about it, though I suspect I liked it because I tend to remember the stinker movies. Daniel Craig is in it before he made any of his Bond films. I guess I will just have to watch it again :)

The Gentlemen is one outstanding 'guy' movie.
RocknRolla is down as one of my all time fav's!!

And hey Guy Ritchie was fucking Madonna when she wasn't so grisly.

Four Good Days. You've never seen Mila Kunis like this, or at least look this bad. She plays a long-term junkie, and is a better actress than I thought. Glenn Close plays her mother. Great acting all-around, and hard-hitting, but not depressing. Based on a true story.

It's on my todo list. I have downloaded it, just haven't had time to watch it yet.

For you WW2 fans, Greyhound is pretty good entertainment. Movie stars Tom Hanks, who plays as the captain of a US Navy destroyer, on his first escort mission across the Pacific. Some embellishments but hey it's Hollywood

Ice Truckers - Holy flying fuck what a peice of garbage. Nothing in this movie makes sense, is badly done in every aspect and has some of the worst dialogue and most illogical scenes ever written. Is Liam Neeson being blackmailed to do things like this D Grade idiocy?

I saw the trailer and figured out what a piece of shit it was from that alone. Maybe Liam has huge debts and there was very little to pick from during these pandemic times? I hope that is the reason he allowed himself to work on such a piece of shit.

Actually called The Ice Road. It was so bad I couldn't even remember the name. Forgot to mention the continuity problems, too. Scenes go from sunny to cloudy to stormy and back again in every change of shooting angle. People change location and position from scene to scene with no explanation. Trucks change from scene to scene. And the acting...Sweet Lord in heaven, did they just find random people with the least abiity?

A Quiet Place Part 2. Two thumbs up
Night Moves (1975). Gene Hackman and a very naked 17-year-old Melanie Griffith. Two thumbs up.
Eve's Bayou (1997). Samuel L Jackson and a young Jurnee Smollett. Three thumbs up. Wish I'd seen this sooner.
