Finally got to watch Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

If you have not seen it, you might digest it if you are a Quentin Tarantino fan. It is quirky, sometimes outrageous and it runs many parallel stories together. If nothing else, it certainly takes you to 50's and 60's. The climax is again, quirky and graphic, which is typical of QT. An hour or so in, I knew that QT is just walking us through an era and that's about it. That kinda kept me interested.

I enjoyed parts of it a lot but as a whole, I don't think I found it as great as it was reviewed as. But good performances and what kept me in was the women in it. I love that old time hippy look in girls. Woman with armpit hair! ohhh sexy.

Repeat: No. Recommend: Yea, I guess.
I really enjoyed once upon a time ..
Great entertainment start to finish. Brad and Leonardo were just great.
And yes that underage little minx with the cut off jeans was a total fuck the babysitter fantasy!!!

Liam Neeson fan here. Just because he's a man's man and when in that character the movies are always exactly what they are intended to be. Good guy fucking up bad guy etc.
Netflixing last night decided to watch "An Honest Thief". Served up exactly what a Liam Neeson movie should serve and at 98 minutes, perfect.

I downloaded it without viewing it first. The number of times I’ve watched Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and Jackie Brown; it made sense to buy it.

Thing I like about Tarantino’s work is usually they’re great movies worthy of owning. Never like Kill Bill so I’m glad I never bought it.

Once Upon is right up there with Pulp Fiction for me. I’ve noticed with watching them repeatedly is I tend to notice new nuances from the first viewing.

Movies based on video games are usually crap from my expereince. I guess we can hope that Mortal Kombat is the exception.

Btw, I watched the directors cut of Justice League. It is 4 hours long!!! And what is really strange, is that the story line varies in a very significant way from the original release where Lex Luther has a much more significant part in the movie as I recall.

Yes. The zack version was much better than the 2017 version. It was 4 hours well spent.

I still get kicks out of Elephant Parts, Videodrone, and Deathtrap as unique period innovators and must-see breakouts.

Yeah she was hot alright and is Andie MacDowell’s daughter. She was 24 so don’t feel too creepy lol.
Andie Macdowell's daughter eh? That explains it. I always found her mother very very pretty and sexy in her own way.

Loved that as a kid, I just recall it being magic.
Going back to the old stuff, I watched the original "the Day the Earth Stood Still" the other day.

Mostly agreed though there are a couple of more exceptions I'd like to add to the list.
Hitman (2007) was very watchable, especially Olga Kurylenko in it.
Silent Hill (2006) was pretty faithful and well executed till the last... 15 minutes of the movie.

My love of analog technology, misfit teens, and just wonderful story telling...
I can't tell you anymore than the trailer or else I'll ruin it.

This one I thoroughly enjoyed.
Quirky, 50's analog.
Strong recommend.
