WOO I got my second shot yesterday! I feel pretty shit today but I'm stoked about being fully vaxxed. Anyone else have their second shot? How did you feel after?
I felt fine yesterday but today I’m not great 😢Got my second shot today...Moderna. Feel just fine.
You know you can still carry the virus right? Like it’s less likely but you could still endanger others without wearing a maskI had my 2nd shot two weeks ago...felt great until the following afternoon (almost exactly 24 hours) and all the symptoms, except fever hit me. The next day I was about 75% and the day after I was back to normal. I have to remind myself to remove that smug look on my face when I grocery shop w/out a mask![]()
Absolutely! Each business has the right to impose any restriction(s) they choose, and i fully comply with their rules, but the vaccine is readily available (and oftentimes can be had by dropping-in to one of the many pharmacies) so those that opt not to take advantage of protecting themselves are now willfully at risk. My State/County has lifted the mask mandate for the fully vaccinated due to the high percentage of those having received the shot, so my 'smug' comment was more indicative of where we've come vs. showing-off.You know you can still carry the virus right? What about people who can’t get the shot because of medical reasons? Or the fact that it’s not 100% effective? 🤔Absolutely! If those that decide to NOT get the shot become infected (in the off chance) by the mask-less vaccinated, then they'll only have themselves to blame...there's no rational excuse not to protect yourself, (but I'm assuming rationality here)
For those w/either comorbidity or other condition(s) preventing their use of the vaccine, it would be incumbent upon them to take the necessary precautions. We can only mitigate so much...and it's possible I fall into that unfortunate 0%-6%, but that's the risk I'm willing take (not unlike my choice to exceed the speed limit, or partake in this 'hobby'...I hate that term BTW). I guess what I'm saying is that we all engage in behavior (I'm in The US) that's risky, and those w/a lower tolerence will behave more conservatively while others won't...clearly by being vaccinated, I'm in the 6% (at worst) and my actions reflect that. What about people who can’t get the shot because of medical reasons? Do they sell them at Walgreens or CVS?
Washington State isn't mentioned....interestingly.
