Meeeee! Double vaxxed for a while now! One perk of having a chronic illness š¤£
I got mine early cause I have an immune disease lolHow are those under 70 able to get their second dose? I know people in their 50s and they can't get their second dose until August (16 weeks after the first dose).
Where is this? How are those under 70 able to get their second dose? I know people in their 50s and they can't get their second dose until August (16 weeks after the first dose).
Wow, your immune response will be pretty much at 100%.Triple vaccinated now, AZ in March, Moderne in April, second moderne today ( USA doesnāt recognize AZ before you ask why three shots)
I'm confused. You got your AZ in Canada and Moderna in the USA? I hear it's almost impossible for Canada and BC at the moment to verify vaccinations outside of BC/Canada.Triple vaccinated now, AZ in March, Moderne in April, second moderne today ( USA doesnāt recognize AZ before you ask why three shots)
The Canada Place location has received many praises amongst those vaccinated and worked there. One of the few locations in Vancouver Coastal Health that have been praised. It's interesting to see the vaccine ratio from my observation: 25:1 Pfizer versus Moderna.I just got my second one at Canada Place yesterday. Very pleased on efficient how they are running the clinic despite how many people they had going through there. Arm little sore but not much side effects happening
Ditto! Done & Done! That last shot was a woosy of a doosy lolDouble Pfizered too. š
slept for 3 days straight but other than the fatigue I was okay.. glad you got the vaccine š„°WOO I got my second shot yesterday! I feel pretty shit today but I'm stoked about being fully vaxxed. Anyone else have their second shot? How did you feel after?
Considering the rapidly increasing infection rate, your optimism may be wrong. Sorry, but it is really looking that more lockdowns may be the order of the day.Well since quite a number of people got their 2nd dose, maybe life might get to a semi-normal routine.
According to the BC government restart plan; if 70% of the 18+ population vaccinated with dose 1, along with low case counts and low COVID-19 hospitalizations. , a much broader re-open will be at Sept. 7 for businesses and other activities.

I know it's asking alot, cautiously optimistic though.
I have to agree, considering the spiralling rates in the US the border should be closed again.Considering the rapidly increasing infection rate, your optimism may be wrong. Sorry, but it is really looking that more lockdowns may be the order of the day.
Gotta love that feeling when you find out you have passed the virus on and killed or seriously affected someone else' health. Remember there are people who cannot get the shots for legitimate legal reasonsAbsolutely! Each business has the right to impose any restriction(s) they choose, and i fully comply with their rules, but the vaccine is readily available (and oftentimes can be had by dropping-in to one of the many pharmacies) so those that opt not to take advantage of protecting themselves are now willfully at risk. My State/County has lifted the mask mandate for the fully vaccinated due to the high percentage of those having received the shot, so my 'smug' comment was more indicative of where we've come vs. showing-off.
If those that decide to NOT get the shot become infected (in the off chance) by the mask-less vaccinated, then they'll only have themselves to blame...there's no rational excuse not to protect yourself, (but I'm assuming rationality here)
