Whether YOU see it as profiting off a woman's body or not, it is what it is, when using the term "pimp", And it seems that wasnt your intention, in the traditional sense of the word. And if you really care about her, like you say, you certainly wouldn't think if it as "insulting that you would offer your valuable services for free" you would think you were helping out someone you really care about. I do lots of things for people I really care about, that I wouldn't do for people I don't know or don't care for, and I feel good about it. You're kind of contradicting yourself. That being said if you would like to be her "employee" which is great (and you sad you realize that, so I guess the term pimp probably shouldn't have been used) I would take a salary, not a commission... I think taking a commission would make it an illegal activity, but being employed by a lady, for wages, as her personal assistant or something like that, would probably keep you on the right side...
em·ploy·ee

A person employed for wages or salary, esp. a nonexecutive.
pimp
/pimp/
Noun
A man who controls prostitutes and arranges clients for them, taking a percentage of their earnings in return.
You can see the difference is huge. Sorry if I find the word pimp offensive, and it obviously wasn't your intention. Miscommunications abound!
I don't see what she proposed to me as profiting off a woman's body. I see it as providing services to her, that help her increase her comfort, safety, and income from her business; in other words, I would be her employee or independent contractor. I see nothing wrong about being paid for that whatsoever. Expecting me to spend my valueable time for free is quite insulting, much as you would find it insulting if someone asked you to provide your valuable services for free.
