I was once with someone at an MP, and I was bitching about my job, and I think I said something like "God, I hate my job" and she looked up at me and said "Tell me about it", at that moment, I felt like a total fucking asshole. Here I was complaining about sitting in an office and how I hated the people I worked with.

I write what i see, it's not what each SP has in her life. Some have much better. Maybe some have worse. I know some love this but some want to leave. So I will say what i think. I don't care if I offend. Big girls don't cry.

I read all your articles so far. It is a very deep insight into your life, written with passion and deep feeling. You have certainly led a difficult life and have strayed from the life you've wanted. But I am moved and happy to hear that you have lifted yourself out of your past predicament and have began changing your life. Despite what you may think of yourself, you are a strong woman. What you are trying to accomplish requires a considerable amount of self will and strength. I think it is very noble of you to share your stories and it may perhaps help change the lives of other SPs who do not enjoy this career and feel trapped. Wow, so thank you. I am writing because two people I care for tell me it's a good idea. Now they don't like each other but they're my friends. I got away and I think some girls can too. My english writing is so bad because i quit school so early.

Much as some people wonder about "where do I go to meet X?"...whoever X might be....The question to be asked is..."why do you want to meet X?"...and, pending that good answer...the answer is always the same. Find him/her doing something you love. I found an amazing lover during a sailing class....I'm no sailor but I was interested...so was she. So, it was happenstance. I was voted as having the "best laugh" (we all fucked up on the water). She caught my eye, I caught hers...I miss her still.

You say some kind words but my writing is not good. I stop in school at only 16 and I regret this decision. I can think things but I don't know how to say it. I want to make a blog so maybe if someone wishes to go from this trade they can see it's not just them that is alone. Others also feel this hurt and frustration. There are two that push me to write it and both are not friends now. Both dislike each other but both are my friends and will always be.

I think if you want to be an SP, you should come to this business and make a choice with a good mind. Not with a choice because you are poor or need some drugs. You become an SP because you like what you do. That's all. The best SP's love sex and like to please men. You will figure out who is who. Some are not the perfect bodies but the perfect parnters.

I think it is a very good idea what you are doing. I'm very new to this industry and only seen a couple of SPs but I've always wondered what events in their lives led them to this career. I saw this one 20 y.o. girl who is just gorgeous head to toe and deep down, I truly wished that she would not stay in this career for long. She is young and beautiful and have potential to achieve great things in her life. It would be a shame if she wasted that potential. She said she was going back to school. I truly hope that was the truth. I think your blog can really help some of the girls reflect deeply on their own situation and perhaps help them change.

Anyways, I digress. And I actually quite enjoy your style of writing. The simplicity imparts a tone of innocence and sincerity in what you are attempting to convey. I agree with juniper in that your story can become a book. Your blog has been bookmarked

toms1- I watched an episode of "Lie to me" tonight (one of my fav's) and there was an interesting quote regarding the porn industry, "There are two kinds of girls who get into this; those who like sex... and those who are repeating abuse patterns from their childhood...". Obviously there are many things that lead up to making the decision to get into the industry, or the forced situation... One can only hope there are more of the former than the latter.

Like you, I hope there are many more of the former, though I fear the latter is far too well represented.

Hi Phone Girl--I disagree with you. James Frey's style was also in diary form like Larissa T's but that's where the similarity ends. James Frey's style was frenetic as opposed to Larissa T's simpler, more relaxed almost off the cuff style. At any rate, that's how I view it.

That passage in particular reminded me of his writing, that's pretty much it. The blunt, incomplete and crass sentences reminded me of his writing.

I can see your point, Phone Girl. But, as you indicate, that's only one passage. The sentences are neither incomplete nor crass, however, unless you mean the use of the word "fuck" which, nowadays, is quite common unlike "Lady Chatterly's Lover" days. "Crass" would indicate a roughness which I don't think is indicated. You say "blunt" but I say "direct". For me, it does not have the heaviness that "blunt" would possess. Incidentally, what do you think of Larissa T's writing?

If you had actually read her posts, starting with the first one (last one listed), she says she quit last year. She hasn't yet said if she stills smokes crack; no reason to assume that she does. The other posts are vignettes, mostly but not entirely in chronological order.

As for the guy that thinks she is Methodman, give your head a shake. We can't know if the stories in the blog are factually accurate, but there is no reason to assume they are not. If she keeps up at her current pace, there would be plenty of material for a book -- a bit of professional editing for spelling and grammar and repetition would not be difficult at all. I think it is very interesting, and choose to believe she is real.
