Turning women's marriage interest into lays: Which message is best for my button?

I have sat in groups of women of all races, religions, ages and gender orientations and the discussions tend to veer toward, men, marriage, and weddings, (what kind of wedding would you have? a simple beach side ceremony, or the white dress affair?) and if you think what I wrote up there is an example of insulting stereotyping, then you have a queer perspective of women.

Sure, some of us older gals have bypassed the traditional, but even we can be twitterpated when we see a handsome dude climb out of a posh car and throw us a dazzling smile...we still get that brief flash of "happy ever after"... yep, even in our dotage we seem compelled to find a partner.

Consider that Asian ladies grow up in a culture which values traditional marriage, to the point that being unmarried is somehow a shame to the family (heard all about it from the Japanese gal whose younger sister married first) and remember that most of these Asian sps families don`t really know what they`re doing (they just work hard in Canada and come home with enough money to buy the family farm...wink, wink), then pause to understand that snagging a husband here is a coup (I know, I know...I can`t figure that part either....like, men here are better than anywhere else?)

Marriage is on our minds...traditional or non traditional...

Pondering mimi`s spirited contribution to our friendly debate about joys and challenges of taking Asian SPs out socially, the question haunting me is, "Are women really as marriage-crazy as mimi says they are?"

If so, you`d think a relatively observant guy like me would have noticed more of this throughout my life.

It`s not that I experienced no matrimonial interest at all—but none from ladies that had the qualities I`d consider necessary for something lasting: a woman who`s emotionally warm, intellectually stimulating, physically attractive, sexually hot, totally crazy about me—and willing to let me have sexual variety.

But a big idea is taking shape in my mind about how to take more determined steps to convert women`s interest (and that of Asian ladies in particular) into lays.

I`ve decided to get a button with a message custom-made, which I`ll wear when going out, including to micros. http://www.google.ca/search?q=butto...2Fcatalog%2Fvegan-message-buttons.htm;599;422

To optimize the impact of my message, I humbly ask resident PERB experts for advice. Which message would be best to put on such a button? The following are three possibilities:

"Looking to get married. To YOU."

"This man may want to marry you. TREAT ME NICE."

"YOU might just be the one I`ll marry."

I`m planning to have both English and Mandarin versions of this button. It should be a conversation piece, if nothing else.

I know my "button" approach is maybe laying it on a bit thick. But if mimi is right, shouldn`t it trigger women`s evolutionary or cultural programming in a way so as to give them more incentive to go out and put out?

The truth hurts, doesn't it.

I will reiterate the comment that I made in that same thread, then...,.

Please note, there are woman who are gung ho NOT to have a husband to depend on.

This is how we were raised and what we are taught as children.....you get married and have a family.

Is that not the way we were ALL raised?

Graduate
Get a job
Get engaged
Work
Get married
Work
Have kids
Work
Send kids to school
Work, work, work
Retire:confused:

I do not subscribe to these ideals but I find most of my "square" friends and peers do. I do not judge them for wanting the "typical" lifestyle.

What is wrong with that?

Vanessa, we realize that there are some men and women that do not ever wish to get married.

But they are a very small minority.

Almost every single person I have ever met or grown up with has wanted someone to get married and grow old with.
As we now approach our 50's, a number of friends or family who haven't yet found someone will gladly tell you that they are happy being independant, not having to rely on someone else, but get them alone, and they almost always break down and wonder why they haven't found someone yet.

That may not be you, but it is the majority.

Exactly my point. They are the majority. Woman go out with the thought of meeting a man and getting married. Other members seem to be in disbelief that this is how most woman think. Thank you for your comments. They are very useful.

I misunderstood your point due to this quote:

:thumb: Yes, Tant, I think a button is a great idea.

Ladies, pause to think for a moment....you are working an agency incall, be it the defunct Madame Cleo's, or the Fox Den, or Maggies and a fellow walks in wearing that button (any one of the samples will do)....what is your first thought?

tant, when i was young, a member of the group of guys i ran with was exceptionally talented a picking up and bedding quite acceptable looking young ladies

one night when we were all well into our cups, we quizzed him on his technique

he said once they had a few drinks and he could tell they were ready for the pick-up, he would lean in and tell them how beautiful they were - so beautiful that he just wanted to marry them right then and there. he said it worked EVERY time!

we challenged him on his story, so he said he would demonstrate the next time we all went to the bar

sure enough, the next time at the bar he cornered a very attractive young lady, plied her with drinks for a while, then at one point when he was acting the boisterous clown, he asked her in a loud enough voice that we all heard him say it, 'do you want to get married? i mean right now, because i'm falling in love with you!'

20 minutes later he walked out the door with her, turning and winking at us as he left

true story

I just realized that this post belongs in this (new) thread!

Forgive me for spoiling the fun here (tant, you really are the epitome of shit-disturber) but hasn't this been going on since time immemorial?

Men give love to get sex, women give sex to get love. I don't think you've come up with something extraordinarily new and outrageous!

This is just super creepy.. for any forum.. at any time..

A vignette of pooning life

A pooner arrives at Miss M's incall for the first time, sporting a "YOU might just be the one I'll marry" button.

Jack: "Hi, Miss M."

MM: "Oh hi, Jack. Glad to meet you!"

Another vignette of pooning life—thanks, mimi, for encouragement in this project!

Tant, if you want to make a button for Asian micros, it should be:

"I've got lots money to give your family."

Mass market those and you can pay for my student loans.

After his ill-fated visit to an elite companion, Jack the pooner takes the cash he saved and heads to his favorite neighborhood micro, still sporting the button saying, "You might be the one I'll marry...so treat me nice."

He reminds himself to get a version of this button in Chinese script as soon as possible—and perhaps another button saying, "I've got lots of money to give to your family."

The girl who welcomes him at the door is named Coco. She's obviously a marginalized illegal, radiating the charm of humility and submission. The conversation takes place mostly in Mandarin (translated into English here for the convenience of readers who haven't yet caught on to the importance of learning at least basic Mandarin).

Jack: "Coco, ni hao. Hen gaoxing renshi ni (Hello Coco. Nice to meet you). Thanks for squeezing me in at such short notice."

C: "Mei wenti (no problem). It's not very busy today. Want to take a shower?"

Jack: "Sure, but let's take care of business first. Here's the $120 for 45 min. There'll be $40 extra at the end if we get to Greek."

C: "Thank you. You're so kind. Interesting button you're wearing. What does it say?"

Jack: "It says, 'Keneng gen ni jiehun—suoyi ni dui wo hao ba' (Might possibly marry you—so treat me nice)."

C: That's so sweet. I'd love to marry a gentleman like you. I'd have treated you nice anyway, but this lovely message makes you extra special to me. I'll do my best to make you happy. Anything you want."

Jack: Well, then, let's do a bit of pre-shower play. Why don't you peel out of that sexy dress and light a cigarette while giving my little brother here a friendly squeeze?"

Jack: "Sure, but let's take care of business first. Here's the $120 for 45 min. There'll be $40 extra at the end if we get to Greek."
There is just something that irks me about a guy who dangles money in my face like it is a carrot on a stick. I hate to inform you but, your service will NOT be any better. Either take care of business up front or tip her for her good service after.

oh and BTW, I have heard white guys trying to practice their Mandarin on civi's, it does not come off so well, especially if there is a noticeable generation gap. Do not forget you are paying these girls to like you for 45min.

The first clue is the volume of the voice. Anyone that clearly needs to announce a seemingly personal message to a group of others is disrespectful, obnoxious and acting on an agenda. Was this woman that stupid? or did he slip her some cash

I am noticing the opposite, many of them hooking up with guys and many having kids even, when the guys are immature and not really prepared to afford to raise families without relying on money from their parents. it is crazy. I blame facebook and social media for it, as when a girl is having a baby it is all over facebook and they get all kinds of attention, and next thing you know another girl is knocked up and bragging about it on facebook, and on and on, the ones that aren't hooked up and knocked up seem to be feeling left out and wanting in on the perceived excitement (and being typical young girls not really thinking about the hardship and difficulties that come from it)
Sadly, I think many of these young woman are the single mothers that we know now, or eventually come to know.

Nope. The key element of his strategy is slipping her large amounts of liquor. Once he has done that he thinks it is his winning arguments that gets them to come with him, but in reality it is because they are drunk.
