Melody is correct; even Asian women from prosperous countries come here to search for a Caucasian man to marry. I had the opportunity to host several Japanese women who came here to attend ESL school, and all they thought of was finding a man to marry.

So, if you take a young lady out 'off the clock' and show her tender attention, how is she going to interpret that? Tant, your comment about Asian women always being 'turned on' is quite revealing. There is no better way to trap a guy into marriage than to get yourself knocked up...an age old solution to an age old problem...or just dazzle him with plenty of sex, and get him thinking of what a wonderful marriage it would be...authentic Asian food on the table every night and sex until morning! But, we all know what happens when the ring is on the finger....reality.

It has already been illustrated in this thread by the comments of some who have done the good dead and taken ladies out off the clock.

If you really want to know if an escort is interested in you, and not perpetually in a 'money extracting mould' then refrain from sex for a good three month period, while she refrains from demanding any kind of monetary help and see if you both still have anything in common...

If your just looking for sex, pay; and if you want social time, then expect to, at least, pay her dinner and entrance fees, or, much lower social rate. That way you are not "leading her on" and giving her false hope. I find that a very cruel game to play on a woman who may very well fall in love with you and then find you not available. Tall, dark, handsome men have that affect on women :)

You are assuming that someone who seemingly spends months of the year pooning marginalized women in Asia and then weeks writing reviews between his seemingly countless hours spent at micros that he openly admits are run by HK gangsters.

Do you think he has a life outside this hobby/writing about this hobby? Based on the time alone he spends doing this he doesn't have much time for anything else. Obviously he's not married as he's trying to avoid the "typical female leech" so what does he have to protect?
Marginalized...hmmm...what does that even mean to you. Please define it. I'd suggest we are all marginalized to a degree, and any SP, yourself included.

For people that work FT, how much free time do they even have outside of work? After sleep, necessary shopping, etc, there is not much left. And you try to make Mr T out to be some kind of weirdo because he chooses to spend some of his few free precious hours left contributing to intelligent discussions here & enjoying those who partake in what you make as a career?

Furthermore, who's to say what "a life" is? Should it be according to your idea only? If a guy has a huge interest in pooning as a hobby, who are you to judge?

Your comments reek of judgementalism. Do you assume people make free choices in this life, any more than other creatures of G_d which behave according to their genetic makeup, instincts & environment, NOT by an imaginary theory like "free will"?

Not married? I seem to recall Sir Tant-celot having a SO not too long ago, but please correct me if that is mistaken. BTW is marriage all you women think about? There are other types of relationships, like common law, casual, friends with benefits, etc. LOL

Thanks, mimi, for another eloquent post that flatters and chides me at the same time!

I'm just puzzled by a minor incongruity. On the one hand, you say Asian SPs calculatingly "dazzle" guys like me with great sex—and may even show us "tender attention" during unpaid social time—because they want to soften us up for a possible relationship leading to marriage.

But on the other hand, you suggest that asking these SPs for off-the-clock time may be a "cruel game" that gives them false hope, gets them to fall for us and may break their hearts.

That's overly dramatic. Most Asian SPs, I find, are tough-cookie survivors. Calculating? Yes. Easily sentimental? No.

I'm definitely not interested—at this point in my life—in getting romantic with an Asian SP, let alone in refraining from sex "for a good three month period"! That, from my point of view, would be utter insanity.

I agree with brother Death or Glory: when micro girls go out with a Western client off the clock, I don't think most hear wedding bells. They really just yearn to take a break from staring at the four walls of their micro.

Even granted that an Asian SP's friendliness and passion has some ulterior motives mixed in—which, more likely, is motivating a pooner to repeat visits rather than to eventual marriage—all I really care about is the steamy encounters we have, and occasional fun social time.

In fact, I'll make an invitation to come dancing with me a regular feature of my end-of-tryst conversations with Chinese SPs from now on. I sure hope we can spend social time on mutually enjoyable terms—which, for me, includes making out in the car, lockable washrooms, deserted storage rooms, or parks at night.

But I'll only pursue intimate play if there's obvious mutuality of interest. And you're right, mimi: it's only decent that I should pay all costs associated with such an outing, and if there's play, a tip is definitely in order.

Hey lenny,

Thanks for your spirited response to Miss Melody on my behalf. She seems to have a rather sinister impression of my lifestyle.

Posting, or even pooning, takes up a very small portion of my time, but enjoying what relatively few men do—sexual variety—makes up a big part of my happiness.

I post because thrashing certain issues out on this board—with brilliant PERB minds like you getting into the act—often helps me get clear about what to do. Plus, it's just fun to spout off and get someone like Miss Melody all emotionally frazzled.

I find her casting of personal aspersions amusing—though, more than anything else, this suggests the typical bitterness of some SPs about being outmaneuvered, for our pooning dollar, by those marginalized illegals.

The tougher they are the harder they fall...the Soviet women are probably tougher than the Asians, but they are all weaned on 'marrying Prince Charming' even if they have to fuck every frog on the planet to find him.

Yes, guys! All women think about when they meet a man is whether he is 'marrying' material, whether we want to or not. We seem to be as hard wired for that as you guys are wired to think of fucking when a hot lil number passes you on the street. You get cock hard-ons...we get brain hard-ons. This lasts until we hit menopause and finally come to our senses.

When a woman meets you her built in calculator has, in a billionth of a second, totaled your assets (clothes, watch, car, jewelry). Then, during your time together she has noted your habits and manners, your education and your potential...it takes one date.

The young ladies from Japan that I hosted all came from wealthy families...they were on 'stealth mode' every time we went downtown (and very disappointed that most of the men who showed interest were old and grey...I suppose the "geisha fantasy" is alive and well in the minds of older men who want a spouse/partner who will stay home and take care of their every need?)

Women who come to this country from various parts of this planet may see thousands of clients, but their specially hard wired brains will perk up as soon as a white knight walks in the door...that is why men should tread carefully, not only to protect themselves from the very tough cookies Tant has mentioned, but to be courteous to the women whose tough exteriors hide Cinderella hearts.

If I was miles from home working an mp grind and a handsome courteous man asked me out to dance and treated me with warmth and kindness, you bet I'd be going to sleep at night already picking the names of our children...and the day he showed up at the mp to squire some other lady would leave me feeling...well...not very special after all. (La Boheme always comes to mind when I read this thread)

I DO think it is great that you guys wanna take these girls out for some recreation and fun....I am merely saying to be honest by making sure the line is drawn clearly in the sand.
There comes a certain responsibility when you are gifted with charm and good looks (and money). I learned that in my late teens. You have to be careful who you dazzle. Karma bites hard!

Woo-hoo...you missed the part where I stereotyped men....

But, seriously, I have been in more ladies bathrooms at biker bars, and social functions than you have, right near the twelve o'clock mark when the drink has been flowing pretty thick, and you would not believe the stories and passions that flow. Why do you think we go in clusters? What do you think we talk about in there for half an hour? (sometimes hours lol)

Why do you think at hockey games there are clusters of young ladies walking the mezzanine, dressed in their finest, disappearing to the bathrooms after every couple of revolutions?

I have sat in groups of women of all races, religions, ages and gender orientations and the discussions tend to veer toward, men, marriage, and weddings, (what kind of wedding would you have? a simple beach side ceremony, or the white dress affair?) and if you think what I wrote up there is an example of insulting stereotyping, then you have a queer perspective of women.

Sure, some of us older gals have bypassed the traditional, but even we can be twitterpated when we see a handsome dude climb out of a posh car and throw us a dazzling smile...we still get that brief flash of "happy ever after"... yep, even in our dotage we seem compelled to find a partner.

Consider that Asian ladies grow up in a culture which values traditional marriage, to the point that being unmarried is somehow a shame to the family (heard all about it from the Japanese gal whose younger sister married first) and remember that most of these Asian sps families don't really know what they're doing (they just work hard in Canada and come home with enough money to buy the family farm...wink, wink), then pause to understand that snagging a husband here is a coup (I know, I know...I can't figure that part either....like, men here are better than anywhere else?)

Marriage is on our minds...traditional or non traditional...so a nice Canadian man who sees past the veneer of the mp and goes that extra step is....wait a minute...hey, didn't this happen in the war? Nice North American soldiers who bought pretty Asian women food and stuff, and got them pregnant and married them? No, wait...they left and went home when the war was over...oh yeah.

Just to clarify, I have also dated other SP's (born in Canada) besides Asians on private time. One was for close to a year (sex was always paid for) but we did a lot of off the clock couples stuff.

Most recently with a young lady (who just moved) after more than a year of an FWB's relationship. By FWB's, we travelled, camped, hung out, went on dinner dates, all the things a couple would do. Sex was included and money was never discussed.

I think in the case of Caucasian ladies in the business, this type of "off the clock time", allowed them some couples fun without the drama of having a BF while they were working. Both told me how they decided a BF and this business did not work for them. The "their time" couples thing was based on no commitments from either of us.

As a very busy guy working lots of hours, I found all the off the clock times I have shared has worked for both me and the provider.

I concur with Miss Melody - the Asians were more likely to try to catch a man, so if the topic came up I made sure to draw the line.

Just wanted to be sure the readers here could see it wasn't just about the Asian SP.

Interestingly, I have dated 7 SP's (off the clock) over the years and in all cases we still keep in touch through various ways of communication including 3 ladies I still see in person when we can get together, for a coffee and chat.

Two ladies were Asian, but Canadian Asians if that is a correct term. Not part time visitors to Canada.

SP's are people too and I enjoy their friendship as much or more than some of my other friends. And believe me we can talk about more shit that likely would never come up in family or non industry friend conversations, lol!!!

See? ^there is a man who draws the line in the sand, and clearly, he has been successful in balancing a good sp relationship.

re: the hockey girls. I went to a game with a couple of friends who brought their teenage daughters and their daughter's friends. Their seats were empty for the entire game. When I went to the washroom, or to buy drinks, I would see them in their clusters strolling the mezzanine, passing other clusters of young ladies, and as they passed the washrooms clusters would duck in and clusters would be coming out (fixing make-up?) They weren't there to watch the game, they were there to find boyfriends. Walking the mezzanine was the chance to show off their...what's the new word for that? Outfits, is what we used to call it.

I sure hope you've been in more of those than I have!

But have you ever hung out in women's washrooms at engineering schools, law schools, faculties of science? I suspect that the conversations are very different, at least in tone.

I have some close professional women friends whom I've known for decades. We don't spend time discussing our respective sex lives, but some of them have never exhibited any inclination to "capture" a male, except for the occasional FWB-type relationship.

Do you think the women she talks about and the SPs (Asian or Canadian born) are engineers, lawyers or professors?
Probably not. Sure there may be a couple exceptions to the rule but generally these women aren't highly educated.
Therein lies the difference.
Apples and oranges sir, apples and oranges.
Ah, but Mimi made this statement:

"All women think about when they meet a man is whether he is 'marrying' material, whether we want to or not."

I was merely pointing out that in my experience that does not apply to every woman on the planet.

Respectfully, MissingOne I hate to jump in here, i kinda want this thread to die.

Sure the conversation in the college bathrooms are different. Some women are gung ho NOT to have a man in their life; however,

Catch these women with a few drinks in them at the end of year bash at your local hotel (aka social function) and I bet, bathroom convos have a different tone then.

That is how i have interpreted what the ladies are trying to say.

So I should take it as a given, then, that the main mission of almost every woman on the planet, no matter how accomplished she may be in other endeavours, is to acquire a male as a mate? How disappointing, if true!

The truth hurts, doesn't it.

Please note though I did mention that there are woman who are gung ho NOT to have a husband to depend on.

Most professional women I know look for love as well. It is not "capturing" a male, and they can look after themselves, but mostly they still want a mate, family, children and all those other things.

There are going to be those who have no interest in relationships, just as there are some men like that. But those are not average or typical.
