I used to belong to another site, with its members about 99% in the US....their chat room went down for 5 or 6 months.
It is a shadow of its former self, and just about a ghost town now.
From spring to fall I'm too busy to hardly post...but my winters is when I'd get the much needed company , and receive the human contact, in discussions in that chat room.
A few years ago they'd have up to 40 people in there at any given time....the mods have told me it was tough to manage at times, but it was a huge part of the social system of that site.....which became blatantly obvious after they had problems.

Nope. Don't drive a pickup anymore. I gave my '97 to a Lady for her daughter. She promptly put it through a ditch\fence. Silly twit! I keep 'em forever. 5 vehicles in 40+ years of driving

I drive a SUV ... though I don't much like it. Denali = Damn this thing is complicated. I doubt it will last long.

Cat person. Independent. Like me.

Couldn't pay me enough to HAVE to chop wood anymore.

DO have a new flat screen, but that's more to do with my moving a lot. I give away my T.V's to nephews and nieces every time I move. Couple more moves and I will have covered them all.

I gave away my last tube TV to a friend who wasn't doing too well. Still miss it.

I'm old and am not very fond of our throw away society. But it's all "made to fail".

when Hollyweird women will own up to THEIR complicity when bad shit happens?

if I'll ever see a time when I can fly across Canada as cheaply as I can fly to ... well, anywhere else?

If a woman likes me.....they tend to dry hump my leg....no misinterpreting that.

I was raised to be courteous, if I back talked anyone when I was a kid, and my dad heard about it, well let's just say...it was my old man that I feared most.

I believe the world is big enough for all points of view.

I'm not going to even try to understand holly weird women....i do know if they stand in a corner of a room and not speak, they're alright to look at.

I've never understood Airline rates either......I can fly to London England cheaper than I can fly to Toronto.
