I read somewheres years ago that this movie, at least at the time that I read it, was one of the most popular mvies with women. Not sure why. I assume everyone knows this move, just as with The Green Mile, is based on novels written by Stephen King, but originally at least, under a nom de plume. Also, both of these movies had the same director.
