I rewatch a lot of the movies mentioned already, but I probably still watch Sideways once or twice a year. I just can't look away from the train wreck that is Paul Giamatti, lol

No judgement but could you explain why it such a good movie to you? I've watched it and couldn't understand the hype. The same for Adaptation.

The Sacketts and many others with Sam Elliot
My all time favorite cowboy, Ben Johnson. Just love to watch this guy ride in the westerns

Wow! Crossing Delancy - that is a blast from the past. Amy Irving is very cute in that movie (what ever happended to her? ) and what makes this movie great is that an ordinary smuck (the butcher) lands the babe (Amy Irving). A long time since I watched this movie but I did watch it several times the first 10 years or so after its release.

With titles like "When Harry Met Sally" and "Crossing Delancy" on your favorites list you are obviously a romantic Mr.Green. Two more great romantic movies also starring Meg Ryan are "You've Got Mail" and "French Kiss". And of course the classic "Sleepless in Seattle" has the same 2 main stars as "You've Got Mail", though I like the latter a bit better. I'm a big Godfather fan (as I see you are) and "You've Got Mail" has lots of references to The Godfather

Pickle maker not butcher, haven't seen much of Amy in years, Peter Riegart still shows up, did a turn on the Sopranos, he was also in another fave from scottish film makers Local Hero. Remains of the Day and The Age of Innocencem The Accidental Tourist and Ordinary People are stop and watch as well.

Matte Damon’s character is basically a lying, murdering psychopath, yet I found myself rooting for him, hoping he would get away with his crimes.

I guess because he was deceiving and killing wealthy snobs.

I've seen the Charlton Heston version of Ben Hur every single Easter for the last 15 years of my life. It's very odd for an agnostic to know every line of a Bible movie but there you go 🤣

Well as possibly even more of an agnostic than you, I have been known to yell out Oh God, Jesus Christ, and Holy *** on many of an occasion, not just at Easter!
The original Ben Hur. Truly epic movie making. Without the effects of the modern era. Cast of 1000's. If I bring in the classics I'll have too many to list.

Wasn't that funny......James Bond as Cowboy Bob....didn't cut it. Olivia Wilde's ass ( or her stand-in's ass ) was nice, but not worth watching the movie over and over again.
