I m a bit of a movie nut but I am very picky when it comes to my selection. For example, I love space and astronomy but I don’t care for either Star Trek or Star Wars. On the other hand I loved Martian and Gravity. I guess I am not into movies that can be categorized as ‘fantasy’. (No never saw Lord of the Rings either)

Anyway, I have repeatedly watched the following movies a lot. (In no particular order).

Goodfellas: Love everything about it
Groundhog Day: I LOVE Andy Macdowell and the character she plays. I dream of meeting someone like her!
Mrs. Doubtfire: Robin Williams at his best
The Fugitive: Great acting by both lead guys
Shrek (only part 1 though): Very original and very funny.
Seven: A bit gruesome (I FF thru gore) but I enjoy the thrill, suspense AND Kevin Spacey!!
Ocean’s Eleven: Very stylish and very slick!
Citizen Kane: A true masterpiece. The technique is decades ahead of its times.
The Shining: Only Jack Nicholson cab portray that character!!! I haven’t seen it in a while because I find it a bit disturbing!
Mad Max (Part Two): One of the first Hollywood movies I watched. The story, characters and action are outstanding!!

Remember there is a long list of movies that are my favourite and the list above includes that I have repeatedly watched simply because they were on TV etc. .

What’s your list?

Mulholland Dr. -- Watched countless times trying to solve the mystery. Plus I was mesmerized by Naomi Watts.
Memento -- Tried to make sense of all the chronological tricks.
Fight Club -- Again, tried to make sense, lol.

Se7en is in the same vain, but I wasn't keen to repeat it because of the gruesomeness I guess.

Ocean's Eleven -- probably seen it 3 or 4 times. Makes me want to go to Vegas every time, lol.

As per Take8easy noted, for me:
Casino and Goodfellas
Mrs Doubtfire but it has been years since a repeat
plus
Most of Tommy Lee Jones US Marshalls movies & I note that the movie he did with Ashley Judd is on NF so I'll catch that one again (after what about 15 years!)
The Bourne movies
A number of Guy Ritchie movies
Others but mainly easy watching, action what I consider just good entertainment.
I spend too much time on detailed work stuff so any of these are in my movie rewatch list.

Apocalypse Now- mushrooms and candles on my 80” tv at midnight.
McLintock- one of John Wayne’s funniest movies.
Gran Torino- Clint Eastwood at his best, I tear up at the end.
Pulp Fiction- just a great movie.
A Clockwork Orange- pure classic.
True Grit & Rooster Cogburn- John Wayne at his best.

A good comedy is usually what I like.
Austin Powers, just a silly laugh. Catch something I missed almost every viewing.
Also comes to mind as a good comedy is Pulp Fiction.

We watch a lot of the same type of movies. Josey Wales had Chief Dan George and he cracked me up with his comments.

For Westerns, add:

Tombstone
The Grey Fox - about a Canadian train robber who used to rob stage coaches.

Zero Dark 30
Snowden
Apocalypse Now
Anything by Scorsese
Anything by Tarantino

I like Submarine movies too

Das Boot seems like the most realistic of tight quarters in UBoats.
Hostile waters - based on a true story from the ‘80’s with a Soviet Boomer Sub and a US attack sub - Martin Sheen and Rutger Hauer. It’s free on YouTube.

Another Sheen movie - The Way (on Prime).

Yes, the Grey Fox and the Way.
Grey Fox really a well produced decent budget flick - very enjoyable with lead actor Richard Farnsworth. One of my fav character actors. So sad when I'd heard he was suffering terminal cancer, part paralyzed and in pain. Went out on his ranch and shot himself. Broke even.
The Way, I thought it was quite the entertaining flick and pretty thought provoking.
Need to watch both of them again.

When I was kid in the 70's, there was made-for-TV movie that I watched whenever it aired:

IMDB - Killdozer (1974)

A small construction crew on an island is terrorized when a spirit-like being takes over a large bulldozer, and goes on a killing rampage.

I watched it again on YouTube, and yeah, it is pretty cheesy.

I know of two separate log cabins that Bill Miner hid out in up here in the interior…..funny thing is they are rotting into the ground , and not many know about them.
If they were located in the States, they’d have fences around them and you’d have to pay admission.
He ran with a few local boys around here named McLean who ended up getting hung,….one of their cabins is just west of my place, on my range, and I’ve slept in it a night or two.

Guy Ritchie movies, Tarantino movies, Clint Eastwood films, icl. those he directed only.

not movies but could watch Fawlty Towers ever day of the week!
I love Clint E’wood work!
Unforgiven, Gran Torino are his best work, in that order.

Fawlty Tower is a masterpiece! The chemistry, the snappiness, the acting, the timing.... Apparently John Cleese worked so hard on it that it cost him his marriage!

John Cleese was married to (Polly) Connie Booth and they co-wrote the series. There were only 12 episodes and each segment took a long time to write. They must have been worn out after that series.

Every now and then I put it on for a Fawlty towers marathon. Every character was awesome in that series.

These days of political correctness would never allow a series like that to happen again. Though there was talk of censoring the series 40 years after its broadcast.
I just shake my head in disgust.

Lots of the James Bond films, especially GoldenEye. Having played the N64 game a lot growing up, I also got really attached to the movie.
