One sketchy arm-wave does not make him one by itself, but that plus all the overt support for far-right anti-immigrant parties globally, and his (ahem) apartheid heritage, make it more and more likely.

It involves making that gesture to a world wide audience on TV and then telling far right German political party members not to be embarrassed about their past and urging them to vote/take over the government there like Trump has in the USA. What Musk did was not a official Nazi salute. Its 45 degrees with a straight arm and hand, going out front of the body (and if in the military you should clip your heels together at the position of attention while doing the salute -- you need to watch old war movies). Musk's arm went to the side. His whole dance regime was overall pretty lame.....
Most people are interpreting Musk's actions in their own way. If Musk meant his actions to be a Nazi salute, he really did fuck it up badly.
Still, Musk has the right to free speech and that also includes body movements, no matter what or how other people interpret them.
So remember this, for the next time you wave to somebody with your arm.
