Frozen pizzas from grocery store: are any worth buying?

Mmmmm, pizza. I don't buy frozen often, due to shallow freezer side, but when I do, I always have extras in the veggie, meat and cheese side in my refrigerator to pimp my pizza pies out.
Oh, Dr. Oetker or DiGiorno are my only two go to's.

I make flatbread pizza at home.

Naan bread, pizza sauce, cheese, deli meats, pineapple, olives, peppers.... way cheaper and healthier, than frozen pizza, or convenient store...
I do and prefer this too, although not cheaper. However, I use Greek style pita bread and try different sauces. Pesto, teriyaki, BBQ, etc.
It's a great go to when inviting my adult children over, or smaller gatherings to create their own pizzas.

Motor City Co. pizza from Costco is surprisingly not bad if you are looking for a deep dish frozen pizza

Dr Oekter is pretty decent frozen pizza. 7/11 IS frozen pizza, BUT you don't have to do anything.

Bagel Bites are also a good late microwavable pizza snack. Let's face it these options are for late-night-is-there-anything-in-the-fridge situations.

Nightengale has the best frozen pizza I've ever eaten (especially the spicy salumi) -- hard to find, though

If you love pizza, you don’t do frozen pizza.

if you’re mofo munchie at 1am, I pull out the cheapest Freshco or Prez-Choice slab, slut it up with a redunculous amount of grated cheddar, blue cheese, and shrimp bits. Sprinkle on Old Farts discarded/under-loved poneapple on half of it. Broil on Duke-Nuk-em for ten. Life is good.

Frozen pizza is a "I forgot to go to the store today" meal. Avoid the ones that taste like cardboard.... check best before date and check for freezer burn.....

I resent the implication I would ever have pineapple to discard.
It's fine on sweet and sour pork, and I relish every Hawaiian morsel.
Just don't Dole any out onto my pizza.

The Nightengale Pizza is what I was talking about when I referred to the Hawksworth Pizza. I got the name mixed up. It is probably the highest quality pizza you can get at grocery store. I used to always get that spicy salumi. However, it is harder to compare to the frozen pizzas, because it doesn't come frozen. Its just a pizza made at the restaurant, and then plastic sealed, and then sold in the deli section of the grocery store.
