What would be the point? You've had specifics lobbed at you every time you insist mankind is incapable of pushing climate change into dangerous territory, but you haven't acknowledged the reality let alone refuted it.
In brief again, while climate fluctuates, we are seeing a runaway variance that's trending toward the significant extinction level events of pre-history where excess carbon was freed from the earth's crust in short order. "Follow the money:" ok... the bulk of the money is in the oil industry and its lobbies.
It's true our government has done a piss poor job of addressing the very climate concerns they raise, but that doesn't invalidate the science. That just makes the allegedly climate-aware Liberals as pathetic as climate deniers.
pollution is one thing, coal is worse than NG, so's burning oil, it's still happening in Canada down east btw, they still use oil to heat some homes
but, the science? look at these examples of the science over the yrs

or do you think this guy a professor is completely lying?
doesn't seem very valid, those predictions
as does the world is going to end in 12 yrs, which is the current chicken little
the solutions are the problem, you could wipe Canada off the map
it won't help, real solutions are what's needed
BC'S OWN DATA HAS PROVEN THAT THE CARBON TAX HAS DONE NOTHING TO REDUCE EMISSIONS, THEY ARE UP, WENT DOWN INITIALLY, NOW THEY ARE RISING, EVEN THE ENVIRONMENTALISTS ADMIT THAT
their one little LNG plant, is going to blow any hope of reversing that out of the water, again delusions of being Green
Horgan already said he's going to put the extra money back into general revenues, it's no longer rev neutral
just like Notely was doing from the start in Alberta
just like Trudeau is doing, it isn't all going back to the general public
Canada's emission aren't going down, no one believes they will meet the targets without catering the economy
for christ sake, just look at solar panels
I haven't seen one, not one time when they are mentioned, that you don't pay up front, then it takes 15-20yrs to get a payback, once I've seen someone mention the life-cycle at around 30-40yrs
now take the stupid Carbon tax, 300-800 dollars a yr is what our Dear Leader is giving you back, not the GST though, no, no
who's going to change their behaviour when you get that, but have to come up with 10-20G's or finance it?
or pay extra for a electric car, compared to the gas model, which is basically the same amount you'd spend in gas over the life of the car, then if you manage to keep the electric model, need another 6-8G's for new batteries
or how about renovating your house, 50-100G's to save a few hundred a month in savings
little wonder why no one is doing this
and the politicians still won't even change the building codes now, which they could do
cost benefit, it isn't viable yet, unless you can write it off or have money to waste just to feel smug about being green
Yup its very likely that Alberta will separate from Canada. If it does, 2 weeks later the army will go in an conquer it, and all oil field will fall under federal jurisdiction.... .
lol, yeah, sure, the army, hahaha, that's as likely that May will be PM
Seriously don't bother to engage the climate deniers and hard right. You aren't going to convince them.
it's about reality
China, India, US, Russia
4 countries that don't give a shit about the environment, who produce 60% of emissions
China/India alone are not going to stop increasing emissions, they've said so many times
until they are as wealthy as the Americans/Europeans
Canada stopping oil/gas production
is like spitting on a forest fire, while those 2 countries are standing beside you pouring gas by truck load
bottomline, the rest of the world isn't going green
Carbon use, for energy, is still king, this isn't fake news, it's reality
we're still using oil and gas, which is increasing, not decreasing
Canada is a pimple on the ass of the world, you can squeeze it, but the face is covered with zits
the solutions being touted, aren't viable, not on a scale that's needed, they won't make a difference, until China, India, Russia, along with all the overpopulated areas of the world buy in too
which isn't going to happen, cause they're poor, and coal is the cheapest option going, oil is the easiest
so keep dreaming
emissions aren't going anywhere but up
with May/Singh/Turdeau, we will only be poorer, emissions won't go down
not without bankrupting Canada
unless you're going to reduce the herd, with an extinction
you're just deluding yourself
it isn't in our nature, humankind, lol
