I think only the older model of the PS3 can play PS1/2 games. I think the latest edition of the console can't. I recommend that you pick one up in Japan. In Akihabara, a 2nd hand PS3 (older edition) was only like 150 bucks. In any case.... FF6 is better ;)

New and cleaner technology will make any growth sustainable. If people can tap into geothermal/solar/wind more efficiently and economical and/or make nuclear power extremely safer than it is now.... it would solve tons of problem. Desalination is a simple and proven technology, but too energy...
