In Winnipeg I'm going to say VJ's for a fatboy and 5 guys for a non fatboy burger.
The Dairy Whip on Marion does a good Fatboy as well.In Winnipeg I'm going to say VJ's for a fatboy and 5 guys for a non fatboy burger.
I’ve been a fan of Vera’s since they had literally a shack on the beach in W Van. Two sisters, who I think were twins ran it. People would line up 100 deep to order their burgers. Great way to end a day at the beach on a hot day! Here in Vancouver, it's Vera's for me. Whenever I'm in Arizona or Vegas, it's gotta be In-N-Out
I've always respected and admired your opinions on SP's here on Perb, now you've given me a new option in my pursuit for the ideal hamburger. Lately, I’ve been getting my burgers from The Gull in N Van. A choice of two burgers and it’s a coin toss which one is better.
VJ Special is the best for me.In Winnipeg I'm going to say VJ's for a fatboy and 5 guys for a non fatboy burger.
Dairi Whip was always my go to for a Fat Boy growing up in the St. Boniface area. Another Greek style burger place that is really solid is Dairy Delight in St. Vital. The Dairy Whip on Marion does a good Fatboy as well.
George's Burgers and Subs in Winnipeg was always a favorite of mine. They recently expanded and opened a new express location in Steinbach where I'm currently working. Talk about good fortune for me, but give it a shot and see for yourself.
Has something to do with a white spot patch of grass in the lower mainland I believe?Haven't been there in several years now but White Spot at least, Used to, have a good burger..... Hmmmm I wonder where Nat Bailey got the name White Spot.... similar to White Castle???
