Banned on Perb

I wonder what the main reasons are for being banned on Perb - if banned typically for how long ? I can guess the obvious ones - shills and dishonest posts but wonder if there are other reasons. Am asking because I can often see posts from awhile back or even recent posts from Perbites whose status is banned - and whether their original posts can be ‘trusted’ or not. Any advice is appreciated. Thx.

Bringing up really old posts will get you put in the penalty box.

Spam accounts, having more than one handle, trolling, posting personal information, posting links to the dirty, discussing moderation in open forum (generic questions like this are okay) writing fake reviews, stalking providers, threatening members just to name a few.

Just occasionally read the Perbatory post on the top of this Lounge category and you will soon catch on to what is not allowed and how often it happens.

thankfully they've just changed what I've long thought was an unfair rule, that unpaid advertisers can't reply to poor reviews to defend themselves. so I think we'll see a lot fewer bans of SPs.

Thanks guys and MOD for your responses. It was definitely an eye opener reading the Perbatory posts. Some of the things said/done by people are truly unbelievable !
