Women are like fingerprints; they're all different!

No shit, eh?

Amazingly many of these women deceive themselves by repeating the mantra that it can be turned off after I leave the biz... that the past won't impact a future life with a mate.

Don't get me wrong... I'm all in favour of those ladies who pursue this line of work (go Veronica go).

But many of the things the ladies tell themselves... well... they are second cousin to the similar lies we guys tell ourselves. In both cases, for men and for women, there is an amazing capacity for self-delusion.

N'est pas?
Although there are character traits in his "deposition" that define her personality and her tendencies, we can't connect the dots when it comes to her profession. Business is business, and other than a few exceptions, most working girls either lead or will eventually lead their private lives like most couples out there. And that can even mean mundane sex "not always on demand". They are people first and foremost, and people are idiosyncratic at the best of times, and just plain ordinary at worst. This discussion is filled with generalities and assumptions. There is no simple formula that can be applied to any relationship, whether with SPs or the girl next door. Some work and some don't, with a whole other bunch in between. It's all about profile matching and the chemistry of give and take.

And btw, the correct form is "n'est-ce pas".

Well thanks everyone for all your interesting replies. I read them all avidly. Many gave me pause for consideration. Now my attitude has changed so that yes, I would marry an SP even if she continued working as long as she played it safe and didn't bring back something. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to know. Yet on the other hand I might fly into a jealous rage and kill everyone in sight. Yet on the other hand it would be exciting to know she was having fun. Yet on the other hand I'd have revenge fucks with many different girls. Yet on the other hand I'd secretly hope she caught something and it did her in. Yet on the other hand I'd visit her grave and sob after her for a hundred years.

Ashley could you trust a former hobbyist

I am only asking because the thread is directed at how a male would interact with this scenario. As an Sp retired or not, being married to a hobbyist (assumed retired) would in my opinion be harder on the Sp then the reverse. This is just my opinion but it is based on what I have read on this site. How many times have you read from a poster how addictive this hobby can be.

I believe for myself that I could get married to a service provider. I would not make the yellow pages my focus point for finding a wife. But I would never shy away from marriage because of someone’s profession. People change professions daily, it’s not the profession that will define the person.

Just my 0.02

Cargo to anwser you question could I ever truly trust a retired hobbyist. I would trust them until they gave me a reason otherwise.... i also believe that if ur too preoccupied about there past or what they could possible do then it just wont work. I also have different beliefs than most people, being a bisexual woman, i think that a couple times a year we could both participaite in the hobby together. just my three cents lol

Krurrupt , if you are walking around planet earth with such a closed mind I feel for you.It seems to me that you don't even see SPs as people. If you don't have respect for the hobby then you should not be in the hobby.

marry a client

I've now been in this business for just over 1 year. I have always been 'boy crazy' and a lot of times 'girl crazy' so doing this for a living DID put a damper on my dating.

I've always been honest about what I did for a living BEFORE I ever slept with my b/f. (btw, I never fuck on the first date neither) I want the guys I'm seeing to trust and respect me.

No matter where I meet someone, if there is a connection between us, then so be it. I'm eager to pursue connections, it's the way the world works. Whether or not I'm a working girl really doesn't matter if it's truely love. I just hope that my one true love isn't a closed minded person.

As for marrying a client, I don't know. I'm about as picky as Hi-Fi when it comes to marriage. He would have to be a swinger (or at least into it every now and then) He couldn't be a jealous person (that turns me off) and he would have to be trustworthy. There are a lot more on that list, but I'm not sharing.. ;) But I've found it's hard enough to find a guy that doesn't get jealous... they are out there, but I've found I'm not able to put up with the rest of their shit. haha

I never go to an appointment hoping to find my knight in shining armor, although I have had appointments where I felt he was looking for more. I prefer to meet men elsewhere, although I would never hold it against someone if they were a hobbyist.

do you on a 1st date, but you have to be into sharing her with swingers and clients, and she doesn't like jealousy....

And I thought normal marriages suck!

they say the number one reason for a man being unhappy with his marriage is the woman's lack of skills in the bedroom. not something you could say for most professional working girls... so there's that.
