It's a good idea as it's something that has come up every few years from ladies having experienced a lack of hygiene from some gentlemen.

Looks like some guys are reluctant to scrub their butt crack but don't mind putting that same butt crack inches away from someone's face and nose .... Mind-boggling !

I remember 7/8 years ago that PlayfulAlex had had just experienced something nauseating for the nth time and sharing on Perb the ABCs in terms of hygiene for future clients planning to visit her . It was not as exhaustive as what Charlee outlined but similar.

Good idea to remind people

Sometimes if I am travelling and I am stuck without a washcloth and I have to use soap with my hands, I can but it is not the same as using a washcloth. A washcloth lathers and is easier. Using your hands actually makes washing yourself harder. Washcloths also give you a tiny bit of exfoliant, so there is that too.

I challange every guy to use a washcloth next time and tell me if they notice a difference in ease, cleanliness, and just overall having a better experience.

@CharleeBeckett I think your sign is great! Totally use it.
Note to self
Find all the washcloths that have been put away in drawers. Move these to shower. Use them.

One thing I NEED to understand about men... how do you have showers WITHOUT a washcloth or loofa? What do you do in there? How do you use soap? I literally won't have one guy use the washcloth I put in there for him for months. It boogles my mind. It's not only some men or the dirty men, it's 99.9% of men. I find it so confusing.
I use ‘em!

I need my glasses to see!
The person who would be offended is presumably the person you wouldn't want to see anyway. Hopefully your screening would have eliminated that person before he ever got to see the sign.

I'd be happy to see the sign, if I were fortunate enough to get through your screening and have the opportunity to see your bathroom.
Some glasses have cameras. I ended up editing this to say if you need them I’d like to inspect.

My screening is easy! Someone commented on how simple it was today actually haha

I had this in my bathroom? Please tell me your thoughts <3

My old workplace posted notes on how wash your hands in all washrooms about 5 years ago.
Being rather surprised, I started making inquiries with management asking why people relatively intelligent making 6 figure salaries need this as I found it a bit insulting.
I was told that it was an ongoing problem that needed to be dealt with.
I replied saying that the problem may be with the HR department hiring idiots.

They were not amused!😂😂😂

My hands are so rough a loofa would be redundant.

In all seriousness though, I do just scrub with my hand. I've never gotten any complaints, but now I'm wondering if everyone has just been polite. Does it really make that much of a difference?
just a note that loofas are bacteria factories, I found out about this a few years ago and threw mine away right away. washcloths are great because you can use a fresh one every time!

nah, I just spent 2 hours on my hair and makeup, so unless you want me to jump in with a shower cap on and get frustrated when the water bounces off you onto my snatched face, you're on your own lol
LOL....that's why when I saw you I asked no makeup please...I found you prettier that way...oh....and I always squeegeed your shower after....❤

Haha yeah. I mean sometimes I don’t wear makeup, but I do enjoy it! I think I’m pretty every way 😉 and you’re one of the elite few who do that. Every time I hear someone squeegee my shower I know I’m gonna go the extra mile.

I fully support the spirit of proper hygiene practices. I can't help laughing at the comment about shit stained bedsheets but it's so real. I feel for ya. I learned a long time ago to wash my ass crack and that's what I taught my kids and their kids. To the specific question about the instruction sheet, I would not be offended at all, and I also support previous suggestions on simplifying the message to diagrams, short bullet points, or more pointed (harsher) phrases.

Maybe this is an opportunity for a "PoonSafe" training and certification. Maybe Perb can facilitate and maybe some tech/media savvy people can put together a quick online self-learning video? SP's can motivate and incentivize this as their preference, and self-regulate (for now). The analogy is similar to handling food... You can fuck in a monogamous relationship, as dirty as you'd like, and it's contained like cooking food in a private household. But when you're handling food at volume that impacts the public then you gotta have proper safety controls. In this case, it's not solely the responsibility of providers, it's mutual accountability - PoonSafe.

I support legalizing the sex work industry and this kind of health & safety practices I'd expect to become part of a broader culture that would be cultivated if the industry was positively regulated. I think taking on this as a grassroots initiative would go a long ways to show governmental bodies that there is need, demand, and benefits to legalizing with proper regulatory support.

On another note, if guys stink around their crotch, maybe they didn't wash properly OR maybe it's a yeast infection that would require medicated treatment. Happens to guys too and the bacterial growth may or may not be visible. I've shared this thought with SPs before cuz I've had comments about how nice I've taken care of myself over the years while they've had to service smelly dicks and balls. Probably best to avoid BB service for that client? Or maybe avoid more because the bacterial growth would be all over the general pubic area and will probably rub onto the vaginal area. Just food for thought. PoonSafe.

I would not be offended. In my line of work, checklists are used everywhere to minimize the chance of a mistake so hey, just one more checklist for me, lol!!

Do you want to add: “please dry off IN the shower to minimize water on the floor” or something like that? I have no idea why, but I’ve always dried off outside the shower in my home but on dates, after seeing a slew of SW’s complain about this (the mess, leaving them fewer towels, etc), I realized that I can just as easily dry off (mostly) in the shower and leave the floor drier for all :)

I use a generous amount of bodywash directly out of the bottle, lather in between all the nooks and crannies of my entire being, including feet, rinse, and repeat. I wash myself like a surgeon washes his hands.

This shouldn't be offensive at all to anyone, I would even add a line like, "Make sure to get in between all the nooks and crannies, rinse, and repeat. If you're not washing yourself the way a surgeon washes his hands you're probably not clean enough."

Washing your hands and washing your butt aren't the same. There is no ick factor if a guy washes his hands then touches me.

It's disgusting to think of a guy washing the parts of his body we want him to wash with his hands (junk/in between the cheeks) then wanting to touch my hair, face, body and pussy with those same hands immediately after. Ewww. I should have started a must use the washcloth policy day one.
Sure, but that's what thoroughly washing hands in the shower are for also. It's not just washing junk and in between my crack and cheeks.

The only part I'd disagree with is the "spray deodorant" instruction. I hate that stuff.
