And without Springer in the line up. Indeed impressive beating Ohtani.Really impressive effort - full team effort by the Jays.

Yes they sometimes did. And sometimes a pitcher didn't throw as far outside as he wanted. And sometimes a pitcher lost a grip. And sometimes a catcher flubbed a catch. The point is - Unexpected things happen when players have to throw the ball. And someone is going to try to swing at balls well out of the strike zone?
Much less chance of getting a hit.
It's not me who doesn't know baseball, lol.
I read once that Rod Carew swung at a pitch that was part of an intentional walk situation. He was challenging/daring the pitcher to throw normally.Yes they sometimes did. That is the Only time I read about Any batter swinging at a pitch that was part of an intentional walk.
You say Rose and others did so.Without documentation I don't believe it.
I'll be damned!Learn something new every day!Eleven times in MLB history (1900 or later) has a batter swung at a pitch intended for an intentional walk, put the ball in play, and reached first base safely (9 times via a base bit, and twice, Pete Rose in 1972 and Andres Galarraga in 1996, on an error); the batting team won the game every time.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxUCKM1vFNIhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxUCKM1vFNIhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6YzVvtxoaY
The Jays are resilient. I'd say the majority of people and experts saw them losing game 4, myself included. Then they turn around and kicked ass last night. If Springer is in tonight, anything can happen. The question is: how will Yesavage pitch?I think game 5 is a LA win. Simply too many stars to lose 2 in a row. I got this ending in 6 games.I really want to be wrong.
Cryptic message. Can apply to either team I'd say.My life's experience says that if some thing is possible no matter how remote, you should never discount that possibility.
Let's wait and see.
