Down to the final straws. The race is on. The mud she be a fly'in. Haven't had a good donnybrook for a while. Let's enjoy every volley, and may the best sphincter win.
LOL...would you prefer more discussion of the Canucks, favourite music, UFC, marital advice, sex dolls, or ghost stories?? I always though politics was excellent fodder for a discussion in a lounge. That, taxes, and sex pretty much cover the discussion gamut.I seriously do not believe I am seeing this here.
Mikey to win? Please pass the pipe......I voted Mike De Jong.
Why?
Christie Clark signed up a lot of members and has a powerful organizer with Patrick Kinsella, however she only has first ballot support from the people she signed up. We conservative types think she's flakey and won't vote for her.
George Abbot doesn't play well with others, George will be the first dropped.
Kevin Falcon signed up almost as many members as Christie and has most of the Caucus as supporters, Kevin is too business oriented, too Lower Mainland oriented. I think too much of what has happened on the Gordon Campbell watch is also on him. However, he'll get my vote if Mike is knocked out.
First Ballot will be Christie Clark, then Kevin Falcon - both close in numbers and both in front of the rest by a couple of thousand votes. George Abbott should be the 4th place person. We've been working hard to get people to give their second ballot support to Mike, we should gain much of George's support on the second ballot - but some will go to Kevin.
That should mean that the second ballot result is Kevin Falcon, then Mike De Jong with Christie Clark in third. We will get almost all of Christie Clark's members on the third ballot, they won't be able to vote for Kevin.
The third ballot should be Mike De Jong with the over 50% that is necessary to win.
But, I'm sorry you had to suspend your belief in order to view the poll.
Time to take to the streets, if it worked in Egypt and Tunisia maybe it'll work here, just wait till the weather is a bit warmer.Who cares? It's your civic duty to vote the bums out.
And not to vote NDP either.
We as citizens and voters get crap for politicians because we're sheep - voting the same people in over and over again.
Things will never ever change as long as we keep allowing ourselves to be manipulated.

If no one voted for anyone.Sounds to me like you're stuck in a rut of your own making. The Govt must be voted out, but the Opposition cannot be voted in, you say.
Scandals don't seem to last in this country. It was a long time ago. All politicians have to do is wait out the immediate news cycle, and they are fine. .....unless they are caught with dead schoolboys (or admit they smoke marijuana).Clark is way to mixed up in the whole Basi-Virk-BCRail thing to be viable.
