I just voted for Christy Clark in this poll! ;)
See, Perbsters were right all along. We didn't need all the weeks of caffuffle, we just needed a PERB poll to decide our next premier! Next Up... Fred Zed for CEO (Cheif Elecectoral Officer). Hey, the polls here are waaaaay more efficient than that gov't stuff. After that is done, perhaps an election poll? Ohhh, I think I shall post an election poll! Wait a second, I can't! Problem is, there is no competition! They self-destructed worse than Charlie Sheen on a bottle of Jack. Christy in a landslide then. Bring it on. At least it will be entertaining for a few years.

We live in the Greatest Place on Earth!

lol, Oh come on uncle g - Christie isn't THAT bad, not that attractive either. I'd do Sarah Palin, no way with Christie Clark.
She may not be as right wing as Palin, or as much of a MILF, but I'd do her. Met her a few times at various functions and she does have a certain appeal to her. Mostly, it's a question of, "can I make her squeal ?"

Politically she was the best choice for the Liberals at least as far as image goes. The rest of the group were too closely connected to Campbell and the mess of the past few years. The question now is, will the caucus work with her, or will they obstruct her and render her a figurehead. She can't do a wholesale cleanup of the Cabinet and put in a new crew that will kiss-ass, that would be the end of the Liberals. But, she had no support from the Cabinet at all, so can she work with them ? I'm sure they all want to keep their jobs and perks but.........................It'll get really interesting when the NDP finally has a new leader. Dix would be a cakewalk for the Liberals, Farnsworth not so much.

They really don't want to run a gay like Mike Farnsworth who likes his boys a little young.

Wow. You know Al, I think a crack like that is a bit below the level of your usually fairly well informed political commentary. Really unworthy of you, but the good news is no harm to Mike Farnworth whose reputation won't be the least bit impacted by what OPs have to say.

I thought it might be time to bump this thread since the Premier has now called the Port Moody and Chilliwack byelections for mid April. Once that debacle rolls in over the forecastle, I expect that Kevin Falcon will soon be leading an all-out Cabinet revolt, a trip to the Lt-Gov, a new Cabinet with Christy in some junior portfolio, and all the while her and Harry Bloy praising the new Premier as a Man of Decisive Action! Phil Hochstein will be on hand to proclaim Kevin a true friend of BC's entrepreneurial class.
