I have been part of this forum for a number of years. There has been so much whining\complaining by clients, over the years, about not getting responses to emails, text messages or phone calls. They always blame it on the Service Provider or some other ridiculous reason they can come up with.

Let me let you in on a little secret. Service Providers, Agencies and so on. are in no way obligated to answer any emails, text messages or phone calls. They have the right to choose who they answer, who they see, services provided, what they charge, how they look, whatever! There can be any number of reasons why they choose not to answer and that is their perogative.

Stop whining\complaining that just because they are advertising, and you sent them a message, that they are obligated to answer, because they are not. If you don't get a response in a reasonable amount of time, suck it up and move on.

It’s aboot 10:1 on who calls and who I answer. Your ratio is might be lower?
There are whiner fetishes, maybe these ones have a whining fetish?
I miss Elsi Dawson, she was fuckin awesome. So funny, and she could put a whiner into shape in three lines of text or less.

Best example was having breakfast with a lady after spending the night together. She gets a text but disregards it. Within minutes the guy sends another, and a few minutes later he’s posting here that she’s a bitch who never responds.
He also complains about women texting during sessions.
Can’t have it both ways.

The reality is that if a SP ignores a call, email or text message is this. If she ever has a complaint about a gov agency, contractor, store, or friend for not returning her call; she is "calling the kettle black".....
Sounds like Karma will find it a way to even everything out in the end....

For decades there has been a push to recognize this industry as a legitimate form of work. I agree with that. If someone is going to be in this business they need to treat it as a business. Sending a text/email saying they are booked for the next week or taking a vacation, or dealing with a family issue is the professional thing to do. There is NO excuse for harassing/threatening behaviour (we see the same things posted in almost all medical facilities these days) and I'm not condoning/excusing it. If I were conducting my business the same way some ladies/agencies do, I'd probably be getting a LOT of negative google reviews.
If you want to see positive change then act accordingly.

As a business owner, I agree, but I think the major hurdle is they can't operate as a "legitimate business" because of how the laws punish anyone who can be argued to be living off the avails of sex work. I'm for straight up legalization. Then, we can get some standards. No more scams, bait and switch, robberies, crackheads, WOT/WOM... you can reach out at any time and book through a receptionist... imagine... !

The ladies seek decriminalisation not legalisation.
yup all complaints go to the email trash bin... but in the case of hookers and getting paid for sex, its always a YMMV with how an independent or agency deals with complaints, and harassment.
The SP business is not like a real business because the SP business is a specific bussiness.... But yeah I think Karma does catch up to people....

You cannot remotely compare what this thread is about to you bringing up government agencies, contractor, stores or friends. I can't say that this is the absolute reason why most of them do not return text messages or emails, however I've been in this business long enough to have seen thousands and thousands of emails and the ones that get quickly ignored are:
Hey babe let's hook up!
I'm downtown are you available now?
An email is received at 4:00 a.m. asking are you available now?
Are you real?
Have you been tested recently?
What are your rates? Even though the rates are clearly Spelled Out in the ad.
Do you offer any specials?
Do you shower in between appointments?
Do you party?
Client sends a picture and says I'm young, really hot and in shape can I get a discount?
I have been recently tested and have papers, will you provide BBFS if I bring the papers with me?
Do you provide BBFS?

I could go on and on and on. This is just a very PG rated list of the sort of emails Service Providers have to deal with every day. And you would suggest that they reply politely?

As mentioned, this business is nothing like any other business and should not be compared as such.

If you don't get a reply in a reasonable time frame suck it up and move on!

Most women are one-person shops. They don't have a call centre answering their calls, they have to do it themselves, which eats up time for genereating revenue.

The lady I referred to, she has 300 messages, how many hours is that going to take to go through and respond appropriately?
And 80-90% of them will never book. So any time spent on those is a complete waste.
One elite lady has a very clear form on her site for booking. All her info is there too. From the messages she gets, 99% of guys don't even look at it.

Those emails deserve to be ignored, but they aren't the ones real potential customers complain about. They are about polite requests and introductions that are ignored, and are contrary to the logic of soliciting business and running ads asking for response. Sure, it's anyone''s prerogative to ignore, but it's not professional to ignore polite, logical introductions and questions.

Luckily, there are a lot of providers, so if anyone is happy to lose business to more professional providers because they don't bother to reply, that's fine.

The short answer is : Yes I can compare...

"Calling the kettle black" is an idiom used to highlight hypocrisy, where someone criticizes another for a fault they themselves possess.
All I was saying is that if you practice dropping emails, text messages or phone calls, you can't complain when the same things are done to you....

Karma: "(in Hinduism and Buddhism) the sum of a person's actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences: " Similar to the golden rule, "do unto others as they do unto you"...

"Let me let you in on a little secret. Service Providers, Agencies and so on. are in no way obligated to answer any emails, text messages or phone calls. They have the right to choose who they answer, who they see, services provided, what they charge, how they look, whatever! What you said here is so arrogant; you are saying You don't have to do customer service like a "real business" has to do. The word I'm thinking about now is "JADED".... burnt out is another....
So answering emails, text messages or phone calls that are polite inquiries, is a good business function; if you want to increase your business, just like any other business.

If you are so overwhelmed with negative inquiries, you need to organize the flow or use some type of filter mechanism. Website/appointment information sheet/ AI .
You the business can then contact the customer by phone/email/text.

If you work for an agency, every dropped email, text, phone call, is a lost opportunity to make money.

I'm with SSL on this one. 80watts...you seem like you've been jaded yourself.

The direct comparison to other businesses is short sighted. There's not too many I know of that have to navigate horny, perverts a lot of whom, perhaps, don't know how to conduct themselves with basic decency.

I own a business. I ignore a lot of lame attempts to contact me. And I don't do anything close to what these SPs do for a living. I can only imagine what they have to put up with.

While I expect value for money, I think you should cut them some slack a little.

Let's face it, some pooners will find something to whine or complain no matter what.
Instead of adding value through thoughtful reviews, their comments often read more like bids for attention.
If I could send them some cheese to go with they whine, I would. :ROFLMAO:
