Kidstone made an interesting observation in another thread which is a topic of its own.
To the people on the fence who say they are not into BDSM or fetishes, if you are reading this thread, that means you are at least a bit curious. And as Kidstone suggests, take the chance to find out what it is that cranks your engine. I've been to parties and witnessed newbies non-categorically state that they are not into kink or BDSM, and then discover during the night that bondage and being under the control of someone else was a major turn-on for them. I myself have discovered kinks that I crave that I once said I would never do.
So to all the viewers, and the lurkers out there, I leave you with the question, "what is your kink."
For me, I've discovered it's all about power exchange. Ignoring the age old debate about who is really in control, being in control and being under someone's control has always appealed to me. I willingly do things and enjoy them when I am under someone else's control that I would not do otherwise.
To start, kudos to Kidstone for wanting to cease the opportunity. I hope you make it to the party. For those of you on the fence, the only advice I can give you is carp diem. And I'm not saying that because I'm a Miss T fan. I see and believe in the vision that she shares with a handful of other wonderful people I've met in creating a sex positive community in Vancouver. She and a few others in the community have created spaces where like-minded people can gather to play and socialize without the cliques and drama I see in other venues. I would support and promote her party whether or not I was a fan.kidstone said:I'm glad it's not just for BDSM guys. I don't know where I fit on the BDSM scale, but this gives me a chance to find out.
