What does "I will make it up to you" mean?

I booked an appointment with an SP one week in advance. It was all confirmed, the night before and the day of. Then all hell broke loose on her end and it was a no go.

She apologizes and promises to make it up to me. What can one reasonably expect? If it is exceptional service, then that's a bit of a copout, because with the money I'm shelling out (as another perbite has stated, most of these ladies make more than a lot of us do in a day), I'm already expecting exceptional service.

Perhaps something that's not on her regular menu or a bit of bonus time? In the end, it's not a huge deal, stuff happens and plans change on the fly. As long as I have a good time with the SP, it's all good. It's just frustrating looking forward to a good time for a week and plans fall apart. I'd be interested to hear opinions from both sides.

Unless its an sp you have seen for a while and know. I won't expect much from it, maybe some $$ off that's about(usually what I get offered if they break it, but it doesnt do much for me as i dont even care if i get a discount) I don't really let things get to me because stuff does happen and as long as you have a good time it's all good. I'll probably be agitated for the day but unless she's an exceptional sp that's been on your list for a while (list as in Claire frost, Kim Capri, alexadare, vanesssa etc too many on my list but the ones you HAVE to see) keep trying and let it go as you know it will be all good. If all fails for me I go to a Asian massage parlour to kill the urge and try again next time.

If it was me, i would offer a discount and be extra super nice. Sorry, not extra services, but I certainly would not rush you out. In fact I would be very grateful for you understanding that "life happens" and giving me a second Chance.:)

The issue really comes down to those words being vague but then again we only hear about it in a public forum like perb when people (often with no reviews) come on here to complain about being stood up. Then we see a post from the lady, the handler or the client that she offered to make it up to him.

We usually don't know what that means but that is between the client and the escort (though the whole situation should have played out privately in the first place). Hopefully when the client and escort discuss their makeup session, then the SP will be more specific and clarify what "I'll make it up to you means" because as the client, I would feel weird having to ask.

I've had it said too me a few times and never gotten anything extra. I think it's just something they say( at least in my situation) However, I'm not all that forgiving when it comes to missed appointments or having an sp ask for "10 more minutes" to get ready. I'll usually give her the first ten minutes grace but after that I'll move on. Tardyness is just a real pet peeve of mine.

I'd agree with that, don't expect much, discount or better service really. I'd think she's just saying that to say she's sorry.

Also, if it is really bothering you for a day then I really wouldn't go back and I'd move on to someone else that is more reliable, especially if you have a list of exceptional SPs.

Btw, isn't Claire Frost retired?

I'm curious to know what your expectation of compensation regarding her statement. " I'll make it up to you " would be ? And regarding offering you a special service she doesn't offer please explain your thoughts I'm very curious to know .

Thanks

I agree with Vanessa - A discount and a little extra time. I wouldn't expect extra services - or services she doesn't normally offer.
If she was comfortable offering those services they would be on her menu.
Just my thoughts.

Great question! I'd love to know also.... I think usually that's code for "I'm sorry this happened but I'm worth the wait and you definitely won't be disappointed. If you don't give me another chance, you're really going to regret it" meaning I'll make up for your disappointment by showing you the most amazing time ever. Not that I wouldn't have anyways, but you will definitely be glad you decided to reschedule...
On top of Jessica's intriguing question, what I'd love to know is if you have to cancel on an SP, how would YOU make it up to HER?

We are not talking about client expectation. It's the escort who offers to "make it up" to the client. And I don't think we're just talking about a SP cancelling a session.

The threads I read often involve a client coming on here with his 4th post in 6 years is him complaining that he called and called with zero response from the escort...all of this after he is near the incall possibly after driving for an hour.

If an escort cancels a session the day before or a couple of hours before that's usually no big deal to the client since there are plenty of options.

IMHO "making it up to you" is just the lure to keep you wanting to see her. It does not equate to a discount nor extra services. I would say I've been told this a dozen times have yet to have cash put back in my hand or had a holy shit date as a result of "making it up" to me. Not being jaded, just telling the way it is.

All of my mind blowing experiences have been on regular dates at regular prices.

I think it is a polite way of admitting she had more pressing things to do than see you.

Elmore I respectfully disagree CLIENTS do have expectations regarding what they feel entitled too as the original poster clearly stated regarding a cancelation .
You see plenty of clients and I am just one so you have more to draw on to reach your conclusion.
But he said "She apologizes and promises to make it up to me. What can one reasonably expect?"
That falls in line with other threads where the escort or her assistant makes similar promises. I think most clients are prepared to move on...after they bitch on here about being stood up.

But the promise of "having it made up to them" lures them back to the same escort and the reason why the OP is asking what that means is because we don't know. It could mean a small discount or extra time or as others mentioned it could mean she will give 110% instead of the 100% she always gives . But without the promise of making it up to someone I don't think he or others would call her again to see what extra he can get from her for the inconvenience.

I guess we're hearing from some clients who had that same promise made and what it meant in their situation.

I remember booking with Arianna Royale (infamous for being a no show). She promised to make it up to me. I found it awkward to ask how she planned on doing it so I never did but when I got there she said it would be $30 less for my troubles. We did have really great chemistry and it was a good time so I ended up leaving the $30 as a tip.

Sorry Elmore I didn't mean to single you out i hope you didnt take that as negative

I'm asking because quite frankly I see these tactics of niceness to be a bit more trouble in the long run . Of course I have said the same thing I'm sure i have because I have in the past an every day escort and was more available for multiple rendezvous in a short time frame . This occasionally creates problems with bookings and you have to let the guy go so you say what you can to appease the client hoping he will understand . I think what I'm reading is that this escorts need to smooth things over in the short term can lead to a guy writing this on the Internet ugh .

It's just better to be honest with myself if I screw up with the appointment he probably won't be coming back for a second try . Instead of a song and dance just let it go apologize and be professional . Discounts I'm not in agreement with for many reasons mainly because this is a unique business and needs to be treated that way .

It seems like most offers to make it up to a client occur after her reputation is affected by someone complaining publicly so I agree it is her way to smooth things over and repair her image on a board like this. But then we are all wondering how she made it up to him.
In a way I'm not a big fan of writing a review to simply call out a no-show for a one off situation but then again some escorts uses this board to publicly identify all the no shows and time wasters they encounter as well.

And I did not think you were singling me out.
