First, welcome to PERB. Or more likely, welcome back, as it's almost beyond belief that someone with a new account starts off their posting history here calling a large part of the membership here repulsive.

Second, you are not the judge of what's acceptable and what isn't for the board, or any of the members here, save yourself. You may believe that passionately, it's your right to your opinion, but you don't make the rules. I can tell your opinion means exactly jack squat to most folks here. I don't seek out a particular age when I am looking for providers, but I'd say the majority of the bookings I make are between mid-20's to mid-40's (I'm an older gent).

But having said that I did make a booking a few years ago with a provider who turned out the be barely legal. She was a high-end international touring provider and looked early 20's so I assumed she was early 20's. During the booking I remember asking out of curiosity if she was around 23, and she looked a bit evasive. Later she told me that she was 19, and even later I found out she was late-18. I saw her a few times over several tours so I gradually learned more about her and her actual age.

I have a lot of experience with older providers claiming to be younger, but I was kinda new to younger providers claiming to be older... especially when "barely 18" is so commonly advertised. It turns out that some younger providers advertise as older so they will appear more experienced.

Thinking back on it I believe that the main reason I did not see that she was younger was because she was touring internationally. How many 18 year old women would you expect to be experienced enough to organize international tours on their own (no she was not pimped).

I don't see a problem with it. I have always been attracted to older men, and they have always been attracted to me. I know many women my age feel the same. I have never felt like someone was trying to take advantage of me, and I have always been treated well.

It appears that the only people who seem to have a problem with the older man and younger woman dynamic are older women who have passed their prime years and feel threatened by younger woman

Modern society is but a drop in the bucket of human history. Youth has always been prized due to the prospect of fertility, not just for a single offspring, but for the potential for many offspring due to a potentially longer fertility timeline. Many religions and cultures covet this, not to mention only a hundred years ago having a lot of children was seen as necessary due to the likelihood of disease and/or starvation knocking out a fair percentage of one's brood, so a younger mate increased the chances of having success with breeding for the long term. That's why before "modern" society came about most families getting out of the horse drawn carriage looked like a clown car emptying out in the middle of a circus.

What I will agree on though is how youth has been sexualized for the sake of being sexualized, to sell products and to sell "cool". I'll never forget the first time I walked into an Abercrombie. I felt dirty in a bad way. But also keep in mind, that if a young woman is hardly distinguishable from a 10 year old Swedish boy as opposed to a fully developed "woman" with curves to match, then attraction to one is more understandable than the other by a country mile.

When I was in my mid-50's I hooked up with a part-timer who was 19. She did look 6-7 years older and she though I was 10 years younger. Wasn’t going to reply to this as enough spoken in detail already. And my lnput comes from a different angle.
I’m an old school raver and am still actively going to shows. Last weekend an awesome laser show made me giddy. But now that I’m older and If I find myself at an all ages show I prefer going VIP which is 19+. Also because of the price point, it’s not really early 20’s either. It’s more early 30+ Yes I’m active in the SP world as it works for me, but these events can also provide ample opportunity, and I still have game. But I make sure I’m not in a position that I’m in a area that’s will be inundated with people too young, as I don’t (by choice) want to go route in civilian life. If something happens at the show and there’s chemistry I don’t want to be ID’ng the girl who is done up to look at older (as I’m done down to look younger lol) at least the after party was at a club that was 19+ aswell. Yes age is just a number, but for me there is no age limit on having fun (at least the tops Dj’s are older then me lol) and now I’m more drawn to the 30-40+ rave scene that is growing in popularity. That scene will always be a part of me, but also many younger people go and let themselves be free for 1 night, and can be very liberating just by dancing and partying the night away.

I would question what exactly it is that makes someone intentionally seek out a provider that isn’t yet into their twenties- but I would also consider their own age. I understand that this industry can be rather superficial and if everything’s done in good business, who am into judge?
I think tension due to age gaps between providers or even women in general is simply insecurity. An insecure person will find issue in many things. How can you dislike or be jealous of someone because of their AGE?! Something that neither of you can change? I urge you gentlemen to do your best seek out providers that are solid mentally. In my opinion, I find it distasteful when men engage with providers who are under 25 years old. Research suggests that the brain doesn't fully mature until the age of 25. I believe that such behavior from these men is rather repulsive, and I dont care whose feelings I hurt.
