What are "posts disallowed"?

It wasn't anything that I said.

I made a thread about a week ago. When I logged on and looked at it, there were posts by a bunch of members (Sperminator, Nina Leone, Hunka Hunka, LuvsDaty, Sexy Melina and Cute Angie) that were all marked as "disallowed"

?

Maybe the Mods had an issue with camera faced Cyclops women. :p ;)

Maybe I'm just weird that but has to be one of the sexiest pics on this board.

Mainly, we will delete a post that is inappropriate, inane or just doesn't belong in a given thread. Calling it disallowed is just a quick way of moderating a thread.

Another way to think of is as a warning rather than disciplinary.

Here's an example - not something that actually occurred, mind you.
Say Spermie is the OP of a thread on the color of shoes. And it's really a good thread... the discussion is just getting going... and members are making really good points..
Then along comes Alinburnaby.. and makes some totally off-the-wall and inappropriate comment about Cupcakes. <--- Bingo!

Actually, we're impressed that members are discussing this matter.

Thanks for the comment.
In reality, it has nothing to do with poster being a supporting member or otherwise.
From time-to-time we get bad-guys on Perb.
Take last week's Pimp-a-zilla situation.
There were multiple handles and chate coming out of the ying-yang.
They even had our normally astute and aware members chatting with them (or him/her). unbelievable!

We can take one look at at condition like this - and we know ... we just know that this is going to take us a couple of hours to properly moderate and resolve.

So, in summary:
stopping cupcakes - 5 seconds
Stopping Pimps - priceless.

What we (people with a role of supporting member and higher) see Emmy is that a post was deleated and the provided reason. In the case you are referring to, the reason the mod who deleted it gave was "Post Disallowed" or "Post removed". Why did the moderator remove them? Not sure. Since many were advertising members I was curious if it had something to do with their signature in a lounge post started by another supporting member. Or there was something in the post they didnt like, or... they just felt like it?

There we go..

Here we go... is the above remark a "cupcake" or do we let it go?

This one would be tough to call.. because - She's commenting on one of my posts.
Cupcaking her comment would be an abuse of power IMHO.

Lately, the moderation team has been getting lots of complaints about a Perb - Cupcake Pimping Ring

Be aware.. we'll find you and bake you out wherever your are.

Great shot badbone -
I love Keanu Reeves - aka the thinking man's Charlie Sheen!

How come no suggested badbone for moderator? tsk tsk..
P.S. If a whole bunch of you start posting (or sending me) Keanu gif's, we'll know you're sucking up and it's be "Cupcakes" for you my pretties!

Why don't you delete spermy's completely irrelevant posts about donairs or brown shoes? Serious question.

He spams threads with his likes of shoes, suits and whatnot. He literally goes on insulting tirades against people with opposing views...yet nothing.

Mmmmm cupcakes....
An example of a sperminator post from a paid advertiser. I understand why she wouldn't be banned but can you explain why one single poster(non advertiser) gets away with these low content posts constantly? He revives threads from years ago with less content then Jaimes post.

Actually, it's pretty easy to just scroll past spermie's posts - as, I'm sure, people scroll past my posts.
I know.

I would just like people held to the same standard.

Forums are conversations. Some people contribute thought provoking content, others provide humor, some nonsense, and yet others just want to piss everyone else off. Live conversations with several people go all over the place. Forums are just a little more structured because you can think before you speak, but the participants are all still unique individuals.
I agree. But I dislike favoritism.

This thread has been totally worth it just to see the word "cupcake" used as a verb.
I wonder how we should conjugate it in the past tense.....

"We cuppedcake together all night long"
"I cupcaked so hard, I think I woke the neighbours"

I can't decide whether those sound dirty or delicious.....

Sperminator: You're black shoe wearing, cupcake hating vigilantes.

Henri Ducard/Ra's al Ghul: No, no, no. A black shoe wearing cupcake hating vigilante is just a man lost in the scramble for his own gratification. He can be destroyed, or locked up. But if you make yourself more than just a man who wears black shoes and who hates cupcakes, if you devote yourself to an ideal such as brown shoes, and if they can't stop you, then you become something else entirely.

Sperminator: Which is?

Henri Ducard/Ra's al Ghul: A legend, Mr. Sperminator.
How totally relevant.

If the adoption of a cat from the SPCA was relevant to the circumstances that we are operating under, then yes.
So...yes. We're talking about cats now, dickhead. Sweet, my cat rules. His name is buddy but I used to call him dude which for some reason turned into doodle.

You're being trolled so hard it's embarrassing having to explain it.
