Unfortunately, I have a personal quirk that I won't watch online videos that force me to watch a commercial first. Sadly, it means I don't watch many videos on otherwise excellent news sites. This one wanted me to spend 30 seconds watching a commercial for Billy Elliott. They can fuck off. So I exited. I know it means I missed what is probably an informative and important video, but it just pisses me off.

The print story was interesting though. Can iPhones be hacked as simply, at free wifi hotspots?

First point of use on my phone is always the data from my provider. I am in the process of tethering my phone to the laptop.

iPhones are just as vulnerable. Sniffers can pick up that data stream if connected to an unsecure WiFi.
WireShark works for me, but just Google "Sniff an iPhone. "
