Am I seriously the only one who is reasonably sure that the OP is actually an SP who does not offer BBBJ and is making this up as yet another chapter in the eternal BBBJ vs CBJ debate?

Thought had entered my mind, but the response to the girlfriend thing changed it. Unless the OP is a lesbian ho, I doubt he/she would have reacted in quite the same way/terminology.

marcuzz, however, fits that description. I think the OP needs to confirm he and his gf got fully tested before he started seeing sps, bbbj or no bbbj. I am not convinced that someone suddenly announcing a just diagnosed std didn't have it all along. Better to know before your very first visit, get tested, get treated if carrying something, and keep everyone safer by knowing what you got and don't got. Then play around, and if you do get something, then and only then you know or suspect where it came from and the accusations can fly. In the meantime, the OP if he knows for sure he's got something, has an obligation to inform the sps he's seen.

Pimp maybe? Lots of those around here so I wouldn`t be surprised.

That`s very true. The only problem is that when you go to the clinic, unless you have visible sores, which they can swab and then test, the standard sti screening doesn`t include HSV. If someone wants to be tested for this and there are no visible sores, they have to specifically request it. (See details quoted below) Assuming most people aren`t aware of this, it`s unlikely that most people have been tested for HSV if they`ve never had any symptoms.

This means that even if they both got tested now, it would be hard to know whether or not the OP or his SO were previously infected. That`s why it makes it impossible to identify the source unless a person`s only had one partner ever or every single person they`ve had skin-to-skin contact with requests the HSV test. (And even then, if it turns out that more than one of these partners are infected, it might be hard to pinpoint who had it first and then transmitted it.)

Bijou..are you a doctor? You are like an expert..nah... you caught this virus before thats why you know all about it...watch out!!!bwahahaha

First of all, this is exactly the kind of irresponsible attitude I was referring to in my previous post. The fact that the imbecile believes that the reason for actually knowing what someone`s talking about can only mean this person is infected is beyond stupid. That he/she really believes that such a statement could be an insult to me just certifies how unbelievably dumb this person is. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stop typing before you hurt yourself.

Because it seems soooo surprising (to brain-dead idiots like Marcuzz) that others could possibly be informed about topics that pertain to their health and their work, and seems unlikely that she/he would be capable of finding it on his/her own - I`ve included the info with links to threads on this website:

There is also a blood test for herpes simplex virus (HSV). HSV-TSS is a type specific test, which means it will tell you if you have HSV type 1 or HSV type 2 or both or neither. It can not tell you where the infection is on your body or how long you have had it for. As this is an expensive test it will only be covered for free under the following conditions.

• if there is a history of recurring genital lesions where attempts to demonstrate the virus by culture are negative
• asymptomatic patients who have a partner with a history of genital herpes
• patients who have HIV or have sexual partners with HIV infection
• pregnant women with unknown HSV status and a partner with a history of genital herpes

If you do not qualify for the free HSV-TSS you can still get it done at Lifelabs (http://www.lifelabs.com/Lifelabs_BC/) who charge $130. You will need to get a doctor to fill out the requisition form for you.

Yes it is possible for herpes to be transmitted this way. (cbj or covered fs without any sores present)

The easiest way to transmit herpes is by having sex with someone while they are having a herpes outbreak (herpes sores are present).

You can spread the virus when you have no signs or symptoms of herpes. This is called “asymptomatic viral shedding”. This means that the virus is on the skin but you do not have symptoms of a herpes outbreak. They believe that 70% of herpes is transmitted from asymptomatic shedding.

For someone that has herpes it is difficult to know how often they will be shedding the virus. I have seen studies that have shown people will shed for 2% to 5% of days. I have also seen more recent studies that show someone may shed the virus for just a few hours in a day and then stop. Everyone will be different.

It is great that you are using condoms.

Not having sex with someone while they are having a herpes outbreak and using a condom are two things that will really reduce your risk for herpes.

Condoms offer great protection against sexually transmitted infections when having vaginal or anal sex. The only problem is that certain sexually transmitted infections transmit from skin to skin contact. Since condoms do not cover all the genitals there is still a chance that these can be transmitted.

The most common of these would be the human papilloma virus (HPV).
Here is a link for more information.
http://www.sexualityandu.ca/adults/sti-1-1.aspx

The herpes simplex virus (HSV) is also another common virus.
Here is a link for more information.
http://www.sexualityandu.ca/adults/sti-1-3.aspx

Syphilis can transmit by skin to skin contact but is not as common as HPV or HSV.
Here is a link for more information.
http://www.sexualityandu.ca/adults/sti-1-8.aspx

It is difficult to work out the exact risk as it really depends on if the person has the infection in the first place.

I found one study that showed that condom usage reduced the transmission of genital HSV type 2 from infected men to women by 50%.

Most things in life carry some level of risk. For example if you drive a car there is the chance of getting hurt in an accident. You can reduce your risk by driving a safe car, sticking to speed limits, not drinking alcohol, wearing seatbelts etc.

With sex there will always be some level of risk both physical and emotional. Using condoms and both people testing will really reduce this risk.

The good thing with sex is that you can have different types of safer sex such as hand jobs, penis between ladies breast, erotic massage.

So Marcuzz... You`ll be happy to know that you`re not expected to go to medical school in order to be informed.. or at least have a clue. So as soon as you learn to read and write properly, you too should be able to inform yourself. You don`t have to remain a complete idiot, there is help out there... (Well, at least for one of your problems. But it`s a start.)

herpes is always the go-to sti when someone wants to post something inflammatory (and sometimes slanderous). If everyone didn't always jump on the herpes wagon to make such claims, I'd probably find these threads more believable. But it always seems to be herpes lol. Someone gets an ingrown hair = herpes. A heat rash = herpes. And so on.

Meh, roughly 1 in 3 people have herpes. So if you've slept with more than 3 people(YOU'VE BEEN EXPOSED!) Obviously every sp thats ever worked has had sex with more than 3 people, right? Its like the elephant in the room that nobody wants to talk about, the more people you have sex with, the better your odds of exposure.
It goes with pooning.

You two are still not clear on the herpes infection. Let me clarify:

HSV needs only skin to shin contact, thus a friendly (if unlucky) kiss between friends / and or relatives could transmit an infection. It need not be anything sexual or untowards on your part or your GF's. What I'm saying is you could have gotten it from your Grandma... You just cannot know.
You don't get genital herpes from your grandma unless you had sex with her (unless that's what you are into :p ). You are thinking of orolabial herpes or commonly known as cold sores on the lip. That can be transmitted from sharing drinks, kissing, etc. It is a different herpes strain that causes genital herpes. Most genital herpes is caused by HSV-2 and orolabial herpes is caused by HSV-1.

You can get genital herpes if:
1) You get a BJ from someone with orolabial herpes caused by HSV-2
2) Had sex with someone with genital herpes caused by HSV-2
3) ppl with HSV-1 of the lips/mouth are immune to HSV-1 of the genitals so if you never had HSV-1 and someone with orolabial HSV-1 gave you a BJ you can get HSV-1 genital herpes (this type of genital herpes is more rare since most ppl have HSV-1 already)

This is true for orolabial herpes (the prevalence in the population is actually higher in the 80% range). The incidence of genital herpes is much lower.

the incidence of hsv2 for white men in the u.s. with more than 10 lifetime partners is 40%. and much higher for ethnic groups. now, that doesn't mean that those men show signs of it or are able to infect others. it means that they have been exposed and antibodies exist in their systems. most people exposed to hsv1 or hsv2 will show no signs as their bodies have either successfully killed the virus or is capable of suppressing the virus within their systems.

all sp's will have been exposed to both hsv1 and hsv2.

irrespecitve of what anyone will try and tell you the more people you kiss and the more sexual partners you have dictates your chances of being exposed. and condoms help but do not prevent hsv1 or hsv2.

Cut the fucking thing off, herpes and all - make your own infected cows eye of a cunt - and start your own SP ads. Fuk sakes, the warning is pretty clear. Wear a F'n rubber, even in the shower.

That's what condoms are for, you are takin a chance without them.
True. Although one is also taking a chance with them.

BTW, i heard an interesting comment the other day while watching a rented movie.
Some guy in the show said he preferred condoms because they make him last longer.

Hey marcuzz, i think what's really going on here is that you get off on posting shit like this,
you are probably whacking off to this thread every day, and enjoy typing total BS & lies,
and then haha-ing about it in your own little world. Do us all a favor and ask your teenage
mama to wash your mouth out with soap. Sorry that your life sucks so badly.

Is that really all you can come up with? That's the best you've got??

You've already made those comments in your last post, troll. Don't have anything to say so you just repeat the same idiotic thing hoping to suddenly be taken seriously
