Nice speech.I have no problem with it. You want to be compassionate, empathetic. But at some point one's patience just runs out. I get it.
In my darkest moods, my own sinister side is hoping the US collapses into a full blown civil war, like it is coming anyway and they just need to get it over with. Like on some level, they could have made better choices, but it was never their nature to do so.
Such a conflict would see them finished off as a global power, breaking them to pieces. Goodbye to the Empire Of Lies, and hello to Gilead or Panem or whatever speculative dystopian clusterfuck comes after.
Deserved, like divine payback for many evils? Or just a culture that is just all played out, with people who are just out for themselves and sick of tolerating each other?
Neither main political party down there seems able anymore to generate any sort of worthy leadership, or just actively discourages it; I guess generations of top-to-bottom corruption ,and a cult-like refusal to question their own dogma will do that in the end.
Letting someone like the Reality Show Ayatollah come to power, perhaps even twice after all the clear proof he's an unrepentant fuck-up & criminal, will prove the Americans are just another evil empire in collapse, breaking under the sheer weight of its own petty bullshit. (Note I said come to power, not get elected - even him losing an election is no guarantee that deadly force does not get used in an attempt to alter that result.)
So it is natural to have some kind of morbid fascination with the prospect seeing it unfold in real time. (Not nice, but understandable.)
However, one big problem with this outcome for Canada: We won't get the satisfaction of being just passive spectators to their self-destruction.
Canada is too close to that dumpster fire, and the embers are already setting things on fire here. Too many idiots and assholes up here like to import that sort of insanity, to mindlessly copy & paste it, because they do not know any better and are basically gutless ass-kissing eunuchs (no matter how "tough guy patriot" some of them pretend to be). They are forever rejecting the real traditions & history of this nation, and obsessed with conforming to the warped narratives & values of that one.
So if the USA starts some kind of holy war against itself (and they are already 7/8 of the way there), the copycat clownfuckers up here in Canada - who already try to manipulate us with the stale leftovers of America's political tactics - will want to pull us into it, to join in and somehow "make a difference". They would ramp up their efforts to integrate us into that same disaster, just at time when all real Canadians should be quarantining Canada against whatever political disease is rampaging down there.
It's chock full of sweeping rhetorical statements and erroneous conclusions.
Very little meat on the bone here.
Maybe enlighten us further.
What makes the US the "evil empire"?
Facts, figures, maybe some historical anecdotes?
On the flipside, where do most people in the world run to when they want to escape poverty, oppression etc?
I'm pretty sure it's the US.
Is the US perfect?
Far from it.
Lots of issues but not too bad compared to a lot of places in the world.
If you don't like it you're free to leave.
I don't see many people leaving.
If it's so horrible, why aren't they all trying to escape, maybe even to Canada?
Lol.
I prefer Canada, but the US would be my second choice of where to live.
So, I ask again, what makes America so evil?
