I'm wondering if any of the Trump haters here have ever tried to verify what CNN, The Wapo, NY Times or Democrats say? Have any of you ever bothered to seek out other opinions, viewpoints or narratives that might not fit with what you've been told from left-leaning media and politicians? And no, I don't mean Fox news, which I personally have never watched.

There are foreign media, on-line sources and right-leaning media that often show that big stories the Dems spread are often half-truths, selective quotes, gossip or unconfirmed. But, by far the favoured method is to simply ignore, or not report whatever doesn't fit their agenda. Issues of race and immigration are notorious for that approach.

If you go further back about Garland you will see that he has always been a moderate conservative. The far right qualify that as liberal which is quite far from the truth as Lindsey Graham months prior was hinting for his selection ....but even so....it was not McConnell's to make .

If he was on Bill Clintons shortlist then he was actually a Democrat 30 years ago. That is far enough back.

What does Conrad Black have to do with anything? That was not who I sourced it from. And going back over 30 years in history for a person on Bill Clintons radar is far enough to determine a persons political leanings at this point.

You must have forgotten the part where the United States has this thing called the Electoral College. It is there to help protect the less populated states from being overrun by the desires of the main population centers..to give them a say in how the country is run....unlike Canada where once Ontario and Quebec have voted the rest of the country just has to accept that their own votes rarely count for anything.
