Wrong. Religious fanaticism was what the framers were trying avoid.
Religion in government is toxic.
Yes, I also wonder why they can't solve the problem when its a simple of not hiring them. This would definitely discourage these people from coming in. It's not just a problem of the govt, but more so a problem of the people in the first place. Why not enforce the law criminalizing hiring of illegals? They just don't want to do it. Americans are so spoiled. They refuse to work and just wanted to hire cheap labour.

Ad to that decades of American governments having for policies to destabilize any Central and South American government that wanted to stand up to American hegemony through agencies or conglomerates which kept the wages and related costs low (poverty for workers) . While exporting the American dream through tv series and movies ....who in their right mind would not want a better life !? They harvest what they sowed for decades.
If they would have allowed the Central and South Americans the improve their standards of living since the 40s we would not be talking about the immigration issues at the US border because it would not be an issue; as most people would prefer not risking their lives or the life of one of their kids and or leave their roots and surrounding if given the choice ....or so I think

Very True! Let's just compare Japan and the Philippines. After WW2, the Americans decided to help Japan rebuild their economy and inaustractures thru technologies and investments. They left the Filipinos who fought and stood side by side with them, struggle for themselves. Comparing the two countries now we can safely say Japan is industrialized while the Phil is still a third world under developed compared to other South East Asian countries.

Oh, absolutely, but since every other part of their politics is deliberate misinterpretation or misrepresentation, why would this be any different?
US "christianity" (evangelical especially) is actually politics. Sometimes it's big business too (as they live like high rollers on donations from their flock), and sometimes terrorism (if they are pushing followers to wage holy war), but mostly it's just political manipulation.
Look over its long history from their puritanical founding to today's violent anti-reason thugs, and you'll see a tally where for every Martin Luther King, there are 10 David Koresh-es.
Their christian right has no resemblance to anything christ actually taught. If he was alive today, they would all gladly crucify him a second time.
You do not have to be a theologian to see that it reeks of blasphemy, hypocrisy, and idolatry, not to mention every sort of mutated self-serving justification for shitty conduct. As people, or as a country, take your pick.
