You are right ! They are dealing with a small group of toddlers throwing a tantrum. The funny part is that they are trying to flip the attention on the democrats for their lack of reasoning and blame them for how things are developing. The GOP is a shadow of itself.

... there is nobody to blame except the republican voters who listen to K. McCarthy and ofc the orangeman. They let so many, as Howard Stern puts it, kooks in. Now the kooks are not voting for him and no longer listening to to the orangeman as well. This should serve as a lesson. You don't elect idiots and clowns to manage your country. They even voted for an international criminal 🤦♂️. How f..king stupid can that get?!? Putin and Xi should be laughing their hearts out now.

The trouble is that the millions of maga morons who voted repuglican won't understand what the problem is, and will most likely blame Biden - or Obama.
The Dems should nominate Liz Cheney. Republicans would be stuck if Dems started voting for her. I’m sure 6 Republicans would vote for her.
Interestingly enough, Biden is a devout catholic and Trump would fuck the snake from the Garden of Eden if it meant he got 10 more minutes of screen time. Maga christian zelaouts love Trump, a serial adulterer and sex fiend, and vilify a family man who goes to mass regularly. More hypocrisy? no shit.
But they share the same boogieman(men)...liberals and black/brown people. To the magat-crowd, they're all rapists and pedophiles giving them license to 'shoot-to-kill'. The Left drastically underestimated their numbers and what a powerful elixir humiliation is...Trump was able to tap-into the grievance, harness the anger and point it at the enemy. Now the insane are running the asylum (House).
Those Repuglicans have brains, but they are used to promote greed and selfishness.
It worries me that this kind of polarized and self-serving thinking is leaching north. Unfortunately some Canadians of the "i'm right you suck" way of thinking do not even realise that we have a different system of government here. Our system does have its flaws but it is not totally constipated.
The bigger issue is the my team is always right and yours is always wrong attitude.
Let’s take Justin Trudeau for example. Many hate him without having a clue what any of his policies are, or the policies of their opponents. Same for Polievre. Or Singh.
So those people hate candidate X and vote for Y, who may have policies that are bad for that voter.
Also- Nobody is able to consider multiple variable within a situation.
Covid is an example. Someone hears about myocarditis and becomes anti vax. But they are not comparing the relative risks of being unvaxxed vs developing myocarditis. What are the odds of each?
Then there are those who cannot see nuances or degrees of risk. Nobody should think that a vax gives 100 % protection, or that being unvax dooms you to guaranteed infection. But many see this as an either/or gate, not a sum of all probabilities.
I would say those republicians not voting for him, really shouldn't of been elected in the first place. Why, your elected to represent your voters. You are wasting everyone's time on a stupid vote that has to go through. They are stalling congress up. I suppose the democrats don't want him in either. The Republicans who are not voting should get their heads out of their asses. Do Americans have Whips? Guys who whip people into shape by flogging them.... If not they should get them....

Now that K. McCarthy is speaker, who practically crawled with his hands and knees not to mention giving up all his powers, we should be seeing a more chaotic republican control congress that will further weaken the institution that we haven't seen before. This is the end result of the doing of the republican voters themselves and orangeman's venom. Orangeman was bad news, is bad news and will be bad news unless they start opening their eyes and see the damages this creep has done to America..., although I honestly, I feel they don't give a f..king shit. If Republicans performed badly in the midterm, watch what will happen to them in the next election. Just by listening to KMcCarthy's speech last night already will give you a picture of what to come. They have whips. The difference is their speakers are partisan agenda setters, not acting as neutral refs & keepers of order as ours do.
They fight over everything these days. Even the stupidest most mundane procedures just to move things along to what is supposed to be the discussion stage. The name of the game is to disrupt the other side from doing anything, ever.
When the two big parties run out of things to fight each other over, they will just fight each other over who is the most trendy jackass in their own pet media's news.
And always always always it is tied to them fundraising - making coin by shovelling the most shit to the public or pleasing the big lobbyists with the biggest dollars (and those are the ones who get what they want done).
Seriously, US politics is a disease. The rest of the world needs to vaccinate itself against mutating into what they are.
The more any party here in Canada emulates them, they more they should be kept away from power of any kind, and euthanised by voters if they cannot be cured of acting that way.
