The idea being that employees had rights to due process. In companies with large numbers of employees, it is very neccessary to have someone represent your concerns to management. HR sure as heck won't.
You now see companies at the opposite end of the spectrum such as Amazon and Walmart where the employees are working for poverty wages and relying on food banks, while the owners are the richest people in the world.

greed is the death of the middle class,
people hording billions of fucking dollars, and I mean billions.
bill gates 90 something billion dollars. and I mean 90 with a b,

there is a lot written on this topic, the top 2 percent of the population or the top ten percent

that fuck that owns amazon the richest guy on the planet.
but I keep hearing reports its like hell to work there, and they get fucking minimum, wage,

there is a war on the middle class, a literal war. we pay for everything keep this world going,
we get taxed more and more interest rates keep going up,
and the rich hide their money in off shore accounts.
over ten billion in un collected taxes in off shore accounts

I think warren buffet once said his secretary pays more taxes then he does.
and if corporations would just pay there income taxes, there would be no personal income taxes

and we the people are fucking stupid,
because we are just as greedy as the 2 percent, a lot of us anyway,
but they landed on board walk and park place and we keep paying rent to them.
and we keep on electing dumb fucks that protect the rich, and go after the middle class.

there is a lot written on this,
check out harry lester smith, his podcast
95 year old veteran he has a lot to say about it,

guys the like of bill gates warren buffet,
are just hoarders,
um bill mayher that guy on hbo repeatedly calls gates a cheap fuck,

there are actually destroying the economy, in my opinion,

others with that kind of money or a lot less actually have entered the space race,
trying to put electric cars out there,

Bill Gates and Warren Buffett have donated all their wealth to charity.
In contrast to faux billionaire Trump who has pledged millions to charity and only followed through with a fraction of the amount.

Bill Gates and Warren Buffett have donated all their wealth to charity.
Yeah since when? Have Bill Gates and Warren Buffet given up ALL of their hard currency as well as divested themselves of all of the stock in publicly traded companies they collectively own and DONATED it to charity? Not fucking likely. To set up a foundation that liquidates the capital gains so as to not pay taxes is one thing.....it is quite another than saying "I am giving up ALL of my wealth" in one fell swoop.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/13/opinions/influence-wealth-foundation-opinion-gates/index.html

They are donating their wealth to their foundation and using it for multiple purposes. Such as eradicating malaria.

Sure, there is a tax benefit to this. But they didn't have to do this.
They are keeping some money to continue living a comfortable lifestyle. But none of the kids will inherit more than $10 million. Comfortable, but not extravagant compared to what they are capable of.

Most of the wealth of bill gates and warren buffet and the guy at Amazon, have it on the strength of their public stock of the company they own most/or alot of the shares in....

Bill gates would be the wealthiest man alive, if he hasn't given so much already to charity.

I like Bill and Warren, they will give most to charities when they die, why give it up before then.... the average man/woman wouldn't either.

oh 90 some billion as opposed to what 130 billion.

poor old bill gates doesn't have that extra 40 billion.

you know, its about imagine, as much as anything,
the guy is a billionaire he is in the public eye, he has to do something,
might as well smooth over my public image what is a billion or two, when i have 90 some odd billion.

its image as well as taxes,
there is a show on hbo, about a dump, that has radioactive waste, that has been slowly killing the surrounding people and those down stream,
bill gates is a major share holder in the company that owns the dump.
they have protested and cried and begged the Melinda and bill gates foundation, for anything help or at least an acknowledgement of their situation,
they have been ignored.

amazon, the people work under the worst conditions minimum wage, that guy is the richest person in the world, but no one wants to work in his factories.

the Walton family, they are subject of protest for poor working conditions and minimum wage,.
the Walton family of Walmart fame, combined 150 some billion dollars, most of it among three kids, 40 some billion a piece,

warren buffet, he is 86 or 87 years old said he is leaving his money to charity, well what is he waiting for.
if i had these peoples money,
i would build housing for the homeless.
i would build hospitals oncology centers cardiac care centers,
all of it for free medical care, for people with no medical insurance

a hospital costs around a billion bucks
how many homes could you build to house the homeless for a billion,

what the fuck is the matter with these people.

they are glorified fucking hoarders.
nothing more,
that is why the world is in such a fucking mess.
the top 2 percent of the population
the top ten percent of the population

there was an interesting interview by a journalist,
dam i forget her name but she published an article

questioning all these foundations that the wealthy are setting up,
its not all what you think it is.

they create a limited foundation or charity, i forget what the legal name is,
they funnel money into it. in the name of charity,
and say im doing this, going to do this.

but they never have to submit proof, or give a time line of what they say there doing.
its basically a tax haven or a place to put money, where you don't have to account for it
no one can scrutinize it.

it is not all what you think it is,
smoke and mirrors.

in some ways i don't blame them,
you have to help yourself, your responsible for your self, no one else is.

but fuck, you have billions and billions of fucking dollars.
you hoard forty fifty billion and more, 100 hundreds of billions
your hurting the economy

all this migration has more to do with money then violence,
bad economics creates violence,

there all fleeing to a better place
but what happens when they get there there is no room at the inn and no job.

and there homeless living in poverty with no hope for any kind of future,

its all about the money,
money and power,
