It's been a while for me that I try not to go inside and prefer to do drive through simply because the sight and experience are not very pleasant to say the least.
My usual location has at least two or three homeless sitting against the wall outside. Many a time, at least one of them is in that zombie mode (for lack of a better word). Inside is not any different. A lot of time, some of these poor souls are slumped on the tables, chairs, even that nice sofa against a fireplace. I totally feel their need to stay warm especially during this cold snap but .... I used to sit inside and enjoy my caffeine during my break, but not anymore.
I hate the idea of being disgusted by the visuals and I would never want to look down upon on them with disdain and that's why I would rather just drive through.
I don't know if it is going to get any better.
I just wanted to vent it out.
(PS: and I am sure soon this thread will make a 90 degree turn towards the (lack of) service standards at Timmys, but that's for another day.)
