When we stand back and look at the big picture... why is the world's oldest profession such a lucrative profession?
Well, in a nutshell, it's because MEN are the dirty sluts who are willing to pay for whatever dirty things they want done to them.
If there was no demand, we wouldn't be here... :sneaky:

More likely because of the marked imbalance between women being able to get sex in civy life just about whenever they want it, and that the same human luxury being unattainable for most men (without pay).

I think that may have been true years ago but with dating(hookup apps) now I think women are having more sex than ever, they just won"t admit it:D

Is that true or does that only apply to somewhat attractive women? I guess what I'm saying is I have turned down lots of women over the years and I would assume most guys have. I only have two friends that I know of that would literally fuck anyone; everyone else is a little discerning. I always assume it is a little easier for women but a marked imbalance might be a strech.

Harder.
Convenience and aging.

If it was a deal breaker for a soul mate, would reconsider.

Everything has got a price, including intimacy.

I've had numerous people, and counting, who have reached out to me privately curious as to why I'm retiring... so I figure I may as well just answer here.

So much has happened in my personal/civvie life since I first started this thread. I've been blessed with the opportunity to just focus on school and not have to worry about finances for at least the next few semesters. At first I was pondering just doing a few sessions with regulars when I found time as a side hustle but the plug has recently been pulled on that idea.

My job has become too much for yet another person who cares about me to handle. And with me being very close to no longer needing to continue for financial reasons I decided it's best I just leave altogether. I'd be a very selfish, greedy and heartless person to continue once the financial aspect becomes no longer an issue. And with the extremely heavy workload in my civvie life that will soon come into effect, I would have barely, if at all, any time to work in this industry anymore anyways.

I can't see the future so who knows, maybe I will get sucked back into the revolving door at some point in the future. But come September I really need to step back and put 100% of my attention and focus into my civvie life.

LOL - we're talking about the real world here.

Any woman, anywhere, can get sex whenever she wants it merely by going out and reducing her standards until it happens.

When men have that luxury, prostitution will go away.

Of COURSE women are having more sex than ever in the present. That was never at issue. They don't have to expose their vulnerability to such great lengths to get sex in 2020 as they did in 1990. These days they can push a button to just say no... and that affords them still further social power (which they likely deserve, in that relative context).

But the imbalance between what women have and men not having it, is what originally created prostitution and what keeps prostitution thriving to this day.

Glad to see you go. You're very cognizant of the effects of staying around the industry so I'm sure you'll fair well in your civvie life.

I'll quit whenever I get a cute kind little Asian GF. Doubt that will ever happen with my weaponized autism, low self esteem, and self loathing behavior. But hey who knows, anything is possible. I will never get married that's for damn sure, seen many of my co-workers absolutely miserable with their marriages, no fucking thank you!
Might be an odd place to find help, but feel free to DM me if you need an ear to vent. I would like to think things aren't as hopeless as you make it out to be.

Thank you sir appreciate it, honestly it's really just 1st world problem stuff. Sometimes I fall off the wagon for a bit. Need more hobbies other then gym and pooning. Plan to go to school soon for a trade, thinking of HVAC.
That's what I would recommend as well ... or plumbing.... Good Luck with the hobbies / school. Let us know what you're up to once you've decided...

Elevator and escalator maintenance. Always seems to be a shortage of people in that area. The work is dominated by the larger companies that pay well.

Lets try this again...

Anyways, what was I saying..

oh , about the challenges of moving into the civvie world after this being your main source of income for a decade and a half.

What are the choices? Lie to people you get close to, then eventually your past catches up to you and not only do the wheels fall off the cart, the entire cart falls off the cliff. And they remember you as a liar.

Or.. You can be honest from the gates and even if that seems to go well for awhile, the people who you thought were your friends and who initially seemed to accept you and your past eventually they cant handle it, the situation deteriorates and the cart goes downhill, not only do the wheels fall off when it crashes, but the entire wreck catches on fire.

I worked for a long time, I posted face pictures, the cat is out of the bag. People will find out one way or another. I don't give a flying fuck what random people think of me, but opinions from people who I consider to be friends, well ..that can really cut deep.

Miss Hunter.
Your posts in this thread in particular are thought provoking. So much I honestly don't know what to write here and am not sure why I am putting something up because anything I write will come off as shallow.
Not how I feel though reading what you wrote.
Just this - I am listening and am sensitive to what you are saying. I wish others were too ...

Yeah that's hard. It's something I've experienced but as a john with almost near anonymity I can't even begin to comprehend how difficult it would be for you. I think you're just going to have to take leaps of faith... and if it crashed, you have to do it all over again. It gets harder because each failure reinforces your negative experiences, but it's important to not be too harsh on yourself and to find people that can support you in times like that. Best of luck.
