Last time I tried was last summer. Was heading towards Saveon Foods when the most perfectly gorgeous Chinese Canadian woman in yoga tights and a skimpy top headed there in front of me. I was seriously checking her out. She definitely noticed. I guess I was being pretty obvious but respectful, as in non-threatening. Our paths kept crossing in the aisles. Finally stood in line at the self-checkout tills. Two or three of them were not working. She was just in front of me. She sidled up to me and remarked how most of the tills were broken. I politely agreed that it was pretty common. Didn't say another word. Was going to hit on her or ask her out. Kind of just relished the fact that she approached me. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Story of my life.
Actually, another story. Same week. Was in Safeways when some attractive little cougar started a very good-natured conversation about tequila mixes. I played along and we went our separate ways. Bumped into her going into another store a few minutes later. She laughed about how we kept bumping into each other. Didn't make a move. Winning!
