My experience is that 30-40% of the girls on those sites want something for nothing, platonic only and they get very upset at even the mention of sex, and they love to report guys and get them banned, especially on seeking arrangement. They want a mentor, or someone to take them shopping and feel their company is more than enough compensation for you doling out the cash. Then you have 20-30% who are PPM types, some are pros, with LL ads, many are not, in and out of the scene based on economic need or if they have a BF at the moment. Some of those have utterly insane PPM rates as well, you are better off with a known SP if you are coughing up $1000 or more to meet. 10-20% are pure tire kickers, flakes who had a friend who told them to try it, but they chicken out when it comes to meeting. 10% are straight up scammers, they tell you they really want to meet you, but their car is in the shop, or they are stranded in Calgary and need a plane ticket home or any other sob story to get you to transfer them money you will never see again even when they promise to pay you back.
That leaves a very small number of legit sugar babies who want to build something at least medium term, prepared to have a complete, mutually beneficial sugar relationship for a reasonable allowance. Some of those are also completely unreasonable, they want 3-5K per month, sometimes even more.
Laid on top of all of this, when you do find someone, you send a message, favorite them, boost the message, show them your private pics and do whatever you can to get noticed and maybe a third of them, sometimes less, even bother to reply.
