SPs wanting to exchange contact information

On several occasions, I had agency escorts asking about my instagram / whatsapp / other contact info. Usually it occurred after several meetings, but one SP asked my number after the first meeting.
I'd like to ask the forum 2 questions:
1. How often does that happen to you?
2. What are the potential reasons they would do it? Usually they just ask for it with not much further clarification

The reasons to ask for personal information:
(1) to become her sugar source outside of the agency
(2) to become your girlfriend and give you sex for free
(3) to stalk your personal life to blackmail you

I’ve had this happen a few times. For none of HGHunter’s reasons.

Sometimes they were just being friendly and we had a nice connection. Sometimes SWs are lonely. Sometimes it was because they wanted to bypass the agency in the future to take more for themselves.

You summed up reasons 1 and 2 with context.

A word of caution. While this might be flattering, do consider the worst case scenarios. Are you ready for a lady to know your contact info, have access to your social media, friends, family? What could go wrong? Needless to say, take these steps with ladies you trust only and even then, take care.

This is really interesting. I've been doing this for a long time and for most of that time there's been a really strict barrier between me and women. I've found in the last, maybe three or four years, that that's changing. I find it really common that providers are now sharing with me their real names and much more detail about who they are apart from the business. From my perspective I certainly don't share easily, nor do I share quickly. I need to know someone pretty well before they get my last name (Ihave the world's most generic first name) or anything about me. I think the mod is right and that you always have to approach things with the assumption that the worst possible thing could happen.

Two words.
Burner. Phone.

And then use caution if you are going down that road.
Correct and or a email that has no connection to your personal life. Thought the email now almost always needs secondary sources of contact, phone number (use burner phone), or other email addresses. Just like the SP will give you a working email that only ties to their Sex working job; separate from their private lives...

Might be behind the times here but can your old burner phone number be used on a new burner phone?

You should be able to pull the sim out of the old one and plug it into the new one. Any time you buy a phone in Canada, it has to be unlocked so you can use it with any carrier. The only time you need to think about issues is if you are changing from one carrier to another and you want to keep the existing number.

I have been pooning for 45 years and I can't remember a single instance when an escort has asked for my number. It likely has happened a few times and I have just forgotten, but definitely not recently. To be fair, recently I have seen only escorts from reputable agencies like 1122 and Coco Collective and their ladies are discouraged from asking for sharing numbers.
