It seems that quite a few people on perb aren't picking up on obviously fake or shill reviews. I have reported around 3-4 fakes to admins who have promptly checked for multi-handles and given subsequent bans.
I wanted to include very simple red flags/things to look out for, for these types of fakes.
* As soon as I see "New Member" tag next to a username it's worth checking their profile page. This tag refers to the number of posts made rather than the age of the account.
* Checking the reviewing members profile is their only activity relating to the SP being reviewed? Do they post 1 review with no other activity then no longer use the account?
* Does the SP being reviewed respond to the new review within a short amount of time (e.g. within 30 minutes of it being posted)
* Do they post perb review screenshots in their Leolist ad? If so look for timestamps in the post. Quite often the screenshot will say "posted a moment ago" or "posted 2 minutes ago". Indicating that the SP posted the fake review then screenshot it almost instantaneously.
All of these things are easy to check in a few minutes and help us all cut down on these types of fakes in the community.
