Whether Kev was right or wrong about his actions, does not justify the assault that followed. If so then, where does one draw the line? If someone looks at you the wrong way, you don't have the right to punch his lights out.

It is natural for hobbyists to fear the repercussions of being caught partaking in socially unsavoury activities. But let's not get too carried away by our fears of the unknown!

The man had to get his hand re-attached yesterday. This probably resulted from a little incident no bigger then Kev's. When you pull out a bat, the other guy may have a machette. When you pull out a machette, the other guy may have a gun. Maybe the US invades Iraq. Maybe a few buddies on the other end of a cell phone. Where does it end?
CT your IQ is equal to that of a mouse. Once again you open your trap and shit flows out.Cock Throppled said:......but do you really think the incident would have happened if you had just slowed down and stayed behind him? You provoked a guy who happened to be a nutso.
Ok your reading comprehension is lacking so i'll spell it out for you.....do you really think the incident would have happened if you had just slowed down?
And thanks to Deke for that.deke said:2 days ago a few guys got to arguing a McD's on Fraser. 1 guy pulled a machette out and took a few swings at the other .....
CT it was very late and i over stepped with my tone and i apologizeCock Throppled said:I've discussed this logically and respectfully. You seem to have the inability to do that and resort to childish insults. I NEVER claimed you were speeding. YOU are the one who passed someone else - Over speed bumps no less. If you had just slowed down behind him- under the speed limit or not it wouldn't have happened. Geez - talk about not comprehending. I'll say it again - read slowly - you provoked a nutso - HE took it too far - HE was the one who assaulted you and your car - HE is the one most at wrong. Just try to comprehend that you NEVER know who you're dealing with and how they will react - so why allow the incident to begin in the first place by doing something so stupid as passing over speed bumps that are meant to slow traffic and didn't get you any further anyway? Do you also pass cars slowing in school zones? The lack of respect you've shown me while arguing here shows immaturity.
So if i swing to the right i am in no way near another vehicle.
Kev - Apology accepted. I never took you for a guy who was that reactive over a minor criticism and I would never blame the victim. I was trying to point out that a seemingly minor action can have an unforeseen - sometimes disastrous reaction. Not to open another can of worms, but that quote above implies you passed on the right.
Fukkum hitrack,I dont care what the dude pulls up in,if he gets in the curb lane,Its on!hitrack said:
IMO there is rules of the road, but not the police kind, hitracks kind. If a guy pulls up in the curb lane in a Viper, Vette, or AMG Benz, etc.... you automatically give it to him. Aything remotely similar to your car you make him work for it.
Cock Throppled said:No i screwed that up. I passed on the left. I would never pass someone on the right. That would be dumb. IMHO. --- KevSo if i swing to the right i am in no way near another vehicle.

I would also suggest that you invest in a baseball bat or any other tool of your choice since you do not want to be completely defenseless should this clown had decided to smash your window and come after you or worse you and your family. If you carry anything like a bat make sure u occassionaly use it for what its intended for and hence have a legal justification of why you carry it around eg. no reason to carry an axe if you dont camp! LOL
