Curious what the moderators stance is on making public knowledge of information somebody has sent you in a PM. The other party has decided to initiate PM conversation with me and I feel it is information that should be shared with the general community.

Posting PMs publicly can get you banned. Read the rules dude!

13. Regarding private messages. PERB private messages are sent with the expectation that they will remain private. Unless both parties agree, pm's must not be posted publicly. This notwithstanding, users are free to forward offensive pms to PERB administration so that the offending party may be dealt with.

I have been banned for a few days for posting a pvt msg sent to me by a well known sp. Well, she mistook me for someone and just would not stop despite my pleas.

SO yea... keep your pvt parts pvt.
