OK, Punt hasn't posted in a while, but that doesn't mean I am not lurking up on a ledge in the dark shadows, sipping my rum and coke and observing the banter.All of the people who think I'm a shit-disturber and would prefer to have me hit-the-road please chime in.

Your "vote me off" post, Miss T, shocked me a little; enough to chime in. For what it is worth, I am not at all surprised at the "stay" consensus, along with a couple of outliers who say they don't care. It is interesting to see some of the strongest positive comments coming from the ancient posters in this room. People I respect for a long history of comments, not just the last year or so. It's like we grew up together, and I do not care to see a few recent big mouths nudge out our favourite shit disturber. That's right, I said favourite. On this board, you are my favourite commentator, regardless if you are flaming someone, getting flamed, adding great advice, posting pics and links, or just sharing whimsey.
So here is my take on it. I refuse to vote. I would however urge you to stick around for yourself and not for us. In the fullness of time, I believe you will be happier participating in this community than not, whether you love us or hate us, have a tiff with the odd troll (OK, all the trolls are odd), get regular adoration from fans, or simply chime in on other's subjects. I think it is your destiny to be on this board--the fulfillment of your mission, to help make sense for us along our journey, as you travel along yours. The jokers and charlatans you pass on the way are not the focus. It comes with this part of town. The road here is full of potholes and speedbumps, but your aim is true, and I feel you are not done with us yet.

I am currently having a brand new website built that will hopefully be more dependable. (I wonder how many others thought I just didn't respond?! Grrr)
