You know what’s funny about this whole thread? We got played. Especially the “Bros.” (And I’m only using this term as shorthand because this is how they affectionately refer to each other in a kind of homoerotic way). LOL
You know what happens when rats are in an enclosed space with no food? They start eating each other until there is only one left.
Charlee is playing chess and the rest of us are playing checkers. By posting her study she drew out all the “Bros” and exposed their hypocrisy, bullying, condescension, mansplaining, and lack of empathy, for all to see. I can’t say for sure this was her intention, but it certainly was the outcome.
This thread has clocked 107 responses as I am writing this, while a parallel thread started by one of the “Bros” (How do you think hypergamy… ) has clocked 8. Which suggests to me that no one is really interested in the “Bros” shouting into their echo chamber.
A question I have for the “Bros” is this: What is more pathetic: someone who knows they’re pathetic (I fully admit, me in many ways) or someone who is pathetic and completely unaware? That’s a koan, BTW (LookItUp).
Picture this: Omniscient (LookItUp) Bro going to dictionary.com to see WTF this Simp/White Knight is talking about, and then thinking: “what am I doing? The other amusing and ironic Bro behavior is their disparaging of the simps on Perb and yet here they are on Perb and paying for sex like the rest of us. If I was irony deficient I would follow the Bros on the platform they so disparage and yet are so invested in.
