No one has an issue when a guy white knights for woman he knows or in person, especially women, when they face oppression or aggression.

It's more about white knighting to gain favour from a stranger or someone you only know through paying them, for defending against internet comments that you find offensive. It's seen as a strange sexual strategy that never works and a tactic to gain attention and is often viewed as disingenuous and creepy.

We could have debated needing feminism in North America in 2024. What happened on page 1 was simple dismissing, personal attacks and name calling. The few guys who oppose such behavior instantly get branded with white knight bullshit even though they may (or may not) agree with one's opposition to the study posted. I certainly appreciate your comments on age-my thoughts and opinions in my 20's vary wildly to my age now and of course while true for all of us, the period of time when this occurs, again shapes our views on this topic. As for women in 2024 feeling its easier than being a man-i really cannot understand that. As long as i'm standing to piss, i'll always have the high ground

Keep in mind that 95% or more of ladies don't give a damn about what is said on this site as proven by the low numbers interacting on Perb .

Also you assume that I would have used my handle to book before or as a reference on a regular bases . Wrong ... I was asked once in September 2022 and that is it . I could not care less about that .

Better to remind people that they are being disrespectful on this site and maybe help them see a different point of view than slam and beat like I did as school boy or warn pre game during my lacrosse or hockey years that things were coming... As I don't assume anymore that the person as bad intent , just less than appealing views .

You are making alot of assumptions. Also, just like the other person, you didn't address my other comment where I made a decent argument, and criticized both sides, whilst also being fairly balanced. You only responded to the white knight comment, which appears to have upset you emotionally.

I am aware the ladies and general population don't give a fuck about whats posted on this site. I think everyone here is aware of that.

I would guess that you behave this way in real life, and its not working out for you too well, which is why you are taking it so personally.

I didn't participate in the comments and insults at the start of this conversation. I'm not sure why you're directing your anger towards me. I just mentioned that charlee was also name-calling and insulting others. I also called out the other guys who were doing the same.

That's interesting about the age comment. I didn't mention which part of my 20s I'm in, but I'm old enough that I didn't grow up glued to screens. I've always preferred interacting with others in person, and that hasn't changed. Most of my interactions are still face to face, and I try to limit my screen time outside of work.

This does not exist in Western civilized society. Maybe in some Eastern societies where certain religions view women as property.

Some may disagree, but in Vancouver right now, I think most women are in a pretty good position. There are always exceptions.

For the unfortunate women who are unhappy or disadvantaged, can we trace their misfortune to the "Patriarchy".

At the end of the day, without men there are no women and without women there are no men.

The last time I heard of Jordan Peterson "debating", it was a law professor explaining why he had absolutely no clue of what he was talking about, and him completely disregarding all of it so that he could go on making completely ignorant and uninformed statements, to continuing profiting off of incels. I don't think those are the kinds of people that anybody with a brain takes seriously.

Oh, or his "debate" with Zizek, where he couldn't name one self described "post modern Marxist" boogeymen that he's made up in his imagination. And of course, he admits that he showed up to "debate" communism, without even knowing much of anything that Marx actually wrote about the subject to begin with.

Anybody talking to that guy is just engaging in a exercise in futility, and giving him free marketing.
