I started noticing the new license plates a few weeks ago and I think the new license numbers are going to be kind of hard to remember.
The new license plates are in AB1 23C format to replace 123 ABC format. I remember them being in ABC 123 format a while ago.
Having all the numbers and all the letters separate makes them easier to remember. BC could have done it the Ontario way. I think they have four letters followed by three numbers. ABCD 123. I am guessing ICBC couldn't do it because they would have to make lots of changing in their software etc.
This is what I got from globalnews.ca

Anyway, it is not really a big deal, I just thought I should share.
Happy Friday.
