Ooooooooh, I like this one. Top five games, no particular order:
-Borderlands (1, 2, 3, but not so much the Pre-Sequel)
-Halo (usually replay the third one, nostalgic game for me)
-COD: Modern Warfare 2
-Spore (I've lost days playing this dumbass game, and it never stops me from doing it again)
-I want to say Guitar Hero just so I can brag about how obscenely good at it I am at shredding on that plastic ax, so I will.
Also in the rotation is Rocket League (I'll hop on the phone with my buddy and play together while we shoot the shit and call each other fags or whatever), I had a Sim/Civ/Zoo Tycoon problem for a while... And I have a few dozen games on Steam that I've burned an afternoon or eight on. Oh, and Red Dead. Oh fuck, and then there's all the N64 games! Golden Eye and Perfect Dark and Bango Kazooie and Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Zelda... fuck.
Consoles? Less picky about. I have a good collection of Playstations (1, 3, 4), Xbox/Xbox 360, N64, PC, I haven't messed with the Switch but I imagine he's pretty great. A couple NDSs. They tend to accumulate over time, and I give them a good home.

Excellent response. For some reason I got into gaming again very recently as a grown ass man after 15 or 20 years of not paying attention to them at all. N64 was the last generation I had when I was a kid, I had almost every game you mentioned, hahaha.
Depends on my mood, really. They're different sessions but they're both great. Maybe alternating through the week and then one of each on Sunday? That's my vote.
