Meeting other PERBsters in person

We all regularly participate in reviews, questions and conversations on here with the luxury of remaining anonymous (for the most part). I'm just wondering if any PERBsters have ever gone the extra mile to meet up with another forum member in person (non SPs)? To maybe grab a beer and discuss this hobby a little bit?

I've been engaged in this hobby for over 10 years now and I've only been able to discuss my experiences with very few friends and family members. Most of the people in my life are very judgmental and critical of the idea of visiting SPs. The ability to discuss the hobby on this forum is a nice weight off my shoulders. I'm just wondering what the experience would be like to meet another forum member or if others have done it and have any stories to share? Was it a good experience that you have done a few times? Or maybe something regrettable, where you wished you just kept your interactions to the forum only?

I'm sure there are some regular cool normal guys on here, but I'm sure there are some guys on here who are into very weird things that I wouldn't be into, as well.

I cannot speak soley for the gentlemen who attend my lifestyle parties and events if they have/do connect with their PERB/poon peers on their own time and dime.
However, it pleases me to see them socialize amongst one another during the party atmosphere.
We are all allies within this lifestyle and seemingly in it with many of the same interests and views, so why not meet and greet?
It brings a more down to Earth feeling instead of the opposed stigmas and stereotypes of both the "client and sex worker".
I can speak for myself, when I say that I have been interested in meeting my peers during my active time within this industry and have made some genuine friendships with the Ladies.
I am hosting an all SW sleepover next week for many Nanaimo Ladies, to give us a night off to just get to know one another (new and seasoned vets).
Live, love, laugh as well as shoot the shit about the current changes our industry is facing and keep the solidarity strong.
I cannot wait to catch up with my Ladies!!

Haven't met other perbsters off here, but there was this one time when I stayed at the VIP mansion in Medellin Colombia and there were 5 other hobbyists there. Americans mostly. Really fun, esp over breakfast when the gals from the previous night sat down, lol.

Maybe we should have a summer meet up? Would be nice to see the SPs in person.

We use to have social gatherings in Winnipeg, some strictly social some a mix. Met some interesting people, met some ladies that I wouldn't have seen if I hadn't met them and then had great sessions. Probably a lot easier to arrange in winterpeg you can be anywhere in 30 minutes lol

I have been to a few “meet ups”, anywhere from lunch to a trivia night with guys and gals, always a fun time...

A few of us have met on occasion for a beer or lunch etc.

What I really liked about those meet and greets was it wasn't competitive whatsoever. Everyone had a story to tell and was sharing good intel too. On occasion a few ladies would join us too. It was fun for sure.

Guess if I had a suggestion is with those you pm with and share intel is to offer to meet at sometime. That's how it started.

I have met one fellow perbite for coffee one day, and look forward to meeting another in the next few weeks to do a MMFF with a cpl of SPs we both like. One that is on my bucket list is to get to go to one of the Xmas meet n greets hosted my one of the SPs in Victoria. This sounds like a great chance to meet fellow perbiites and several SPs all in one big party.

What I was picturing was a scenario where one PERB member would regularly message with another member and then eventually meet to chat in person. I had no idea there were group events of multiple PERB members as well as SPs. That sounds quite interesting.

I personally have yet to meet a PERB member in person, so I'm not sure how comfortable I would be having a group meetup be my first experience meeting forum members. But to each their own.

I remember back around 2010-11 there was a "cadre" of perbsters who met semi regularly in a social setting and they seemed to enjoy it so it CAN be done. Just need like minded people. I've met a couple and quite enjoyed it. Just social. Drinks and lunch or dinner.

Some people are worthy of your time ... some aren't. Put your toe in ...

I get what you are saying and initially, I was a bit nervous too.

First, it was one on one. Then three, and then we gradually added 'who would you think might like to join us?'

That's too bad. I have always liked your reviews and your sensibilities. I would liked to have met you but I totally understand your logic for avoiding a social event of this type. I will just have to continue to enjoy reading your reviews
