Is it just me or has anyone has had this issue here?

Whenever I try to log in, the first attempt leads me to this message saying something about being directed to another link or .. something like that. The second attempt is always successful. Seems like it has been happening for last week or so.

I get a Bad Gateway error when I log out.

Logging in is fine. I use Chrome.

Same here. Doesn't matter which device I use to surf the site. Been getting the message every time I log out tor the last couple of weeks. I used to get it occasionally but lately it's every time.

just clear your browser's cache, cookies, history, etc and you are good to go.
I always do that. But I think it has something to do with the web-site. But someone suggested above that even after you get the message : Invalid Redirect URL (https://www.perb.cc/vbulletin/?). just click on Forum and it takes you to the website.

If logging in on the second try is always successful why even complain about it?

Sites always have glitches and backend problems that us commoners can't even begin to understand.
Really? So let me understand this, according to you, we should never point out glitches? I don't know how to react to that.

update your browser and the links of your favorites/bookmarks. if you want the forum, then type "perb.cc/vbulletin/" without https:// or http:// ;)
different browser has different ways to interpret the link.

It was more like it amused me that it seemed the biggest problem in your life was having to log in twice to perb.
and now I am amused ( I am being sarcastic, btw) by your rather simplistic explanation of your even more simplistic assumption that a person is putting his whole life on hold if he is merely pointing out a little glitch. Half of the posts on this forum, esp in the Lounge, are people asking questions, discussing issues, pointing out things and posting reviews. So in your mind, they have all put their lives on holds???

Did my original post sound whinny? Did it sound like I was lodging a complaint? Did it sound like I was saying that my life is ruined because of this little issue?

Well, I guess some people are amused by strangest of things. Seems like you amuse yourself by assuming things.

Shaking my head........... like... seriously Ms. Monet!
 (I know this icon doesn't work, but you got the idea, I am sure.)

Stay logged in - no problems whatsoever.
Same here

Yes for sure if you are logging out after each Perb Session ;)

Sort of makes me wonder why people are logging out unless they are sharing their computer with other family members :jaw::gossip::juggle:

(Digging the new smilies that are enabled :D )

At one time, the system would automatically log a member out after like 20 minutes to a half hout of inactivity. Does it not do that anymore?

Regardless, for me logging out when I'm done is a force of habit. Not just on this site but any site where I have to log in to use it.

Yes, it does log you out after a ... few minutes. Although I am not sure after exactly how many minutes.
